Использование icebreakers на первом уроке английского языка в новой группе обучающихся

Первое занятие с новой группой обучающихся, особенно старшеклассников, всегда является для меня волнительным и важным этапом. Речь идет о группах, которые состоят из учеников, ранее обучавшихся в разных классах. Я обычно переживаю, что урок будет скучным, и не все ребята смогут проявить на уроке активности. Для моих новых учеников это тоже стрессовая ситуация, ведь они боятся, что им придется говорить перед новым учителем и группой незнакомых сверстников, что делает их скованными. От того как я проведу первый урок в группе, зависит успех моей дальнейшей работы. Необходимо с первого занятия с новой группой обучающихся растопить лед между учителем и учениками, помочь им раскрепоститься и разговориться и задать коммуникативный тон не только данному, но и всем последующим урокам.

Чтобы провести первое занятие эффективно и увлекательно, можно использовать на нем так называемые ice breakers – небольшие игры или задания, призванные создать определённую языковую среду и сформировать учебную группу таким образом, чтобы все принимали активное участие в разговорной речи. Icebreakers помогают всем лучше узнать друг друга, а также способствуют расширению словарного запаса и развитию навыков говорения.

Я предлагаю использовать на первом занятии необычные вопросы, которые не только помогут сформировать благоприятный психолого-педагогический климат на уроках, установить межличностный контакт, но и повторить лексический и грамматический материал.
