My future profession

A child usually dreams to be a doctor, a teacher, a firefighter or even an astronaut in the future. No dout, these professions are impotant, so it is wonderful when child’s dream comes true. Many people think money is the main issew in choosing a profession. I disagree with this point of view. I am sure the work must bring joy to the person. Of course, the salary is important nowdays but if you are not happy with your job, the salary means nothing.

My dream is to become a journalist in the future. Why have I chosen this particular profession? The answer is quite simple. I am a communicative girl and I enjoy travelling. I’ll try to find work that involves a lot of foreign travel, because I want to see other countries and meet people. I like studying foreign languages and cultures. When I study a foreign language, a new world opens to me. The profession of a journalist will give me an opportunity to meet new people from different countries or social groups. This is the main reason why I want to be a journalist. I will do my best to become a good journalist in the future because this is the work that can make me happy.

All people around: my relatives, friends always ask me what I want to be when I leave school. You know how difficult it is to choose a profession. I tried special charts to help me to discover which the job is for me. I answered questionnaires. Today I have found out what profession is suitable for me. I will be someone who can count well and keeps the money records of a business. This profession is important for society today.

You see there is a problem in our life. Russia is the largest country in the world. It is rich in resources but people live poor in our country. And my family is not rich though my parents have been working all their life. They are famers by the way. But their work is not effective one. What’s the reason? The profession of a Financial Adviser will help me to solve the problem. It belongs to the list of the careers ranked highest. Financial Adviser! Why it’s great! What’s cool?  If you have a knack for numbers you can work for yourself, for a small shop or for a giant financial services firm. It is a Top-paying job.

In a year I will pass my final exams and get the Certificate of 11-year Education. It makes it possible for me to enter the economic university. I am sure that my knowledge of English will offer me more advantages. I hope, at the age of 25-30, I will be able to provide a decent life for my family. I believe I will be motivated by work satisfaction and a good salary.

Few of us youngsters know for sure what we like to do in the future life. Many parents would like their children to follow their steps. In my view, children should have freedom to choose their future profession. Firstly, they might have their own preferences and interests, secondly, because nowadays parents’ professions may not be needed any more.

Parents and children have different abilities and interests. But in my case, there is no conflict of generations. Frankly speaking, I had no choice. The matter is my father is a teacher by profession and my grandmother is a teacher by profession too. They together have worked 60years at school. I am going to continue the dynasty of our family. I have known and loved this job from the days I remember myself.

I must say the profession of a teacher is not very prestigious in our country. It might be more paid. But when I asked my granny what she likes in her profession most. She answered it is bright wide opened children eyes and the “forest of hands” when children want to answer her questions. My granny is kind patient and young though she is 63. It is a creative profession.

The better a person is educated, the greater his chance for success & high living standard is. Good Education includes the knowledge of foreign languages. Knowing English well, thanks to Polina Maksimovna, I can read a book in the original, listen to the English song, or news in English. It is great! So, that means I master the information. So I master the world.

To sum it up, I am happy to have my parents – teachers. I hope I will be a good teacher.

Money spent on brain is never spent in vain .

At present I am 16 years old. In a year I will pass my final exams and get the Certificate of 11-year Education. It makes it possible for me to enter the economic faculty of the university.

• I was lucky in elementary school I was taught by my grandmother. It is a very good teacher. I liked to visit her lessons.
• My dad teachers IT in our school. He is very strict teacher .
• I like to communicate with little children , and therefore my choice is a primary school teacher
