I`m Tom. I`m from Small town St .Peterburg. I live here with my aunt Polly and younger brother Sid, because my parents died.

It`s annoying to live with her. She always says "I never did see the beat of that boy . He's full of the Old Scratch’.

I don`t like to go to school, It`s boring. I like life without rules. I love adventures. I have a lot of adventures at home, at school, and with my friends.

I want to tell you a real story which was happened with me recently. It was hot Sunday day. I wanted to go to the river. But I hooked school yesterday so my Aunt obliged me to work on Sunday. “You’re a bad boy!” she said. “Tomorrow you can’t play with your friends because you didn’t go to school today. Tomorrow you’re going to work for me. You can paint the fence.”

Yuck! My! It’s the worst thing-whitewashing! As I looked at the fence – I was astonished! Oh, It was so long and high. Suddenly a brilliant idea came to my head. I took a brush and began to paint. My friend Ben came near. He was going to swim. He said that I couldn`t go with him because I was working.

It`s not work I said. This work I like. My plan worked! Ben asked to paint too. He even gave me his apple for it. A lot of boys came to my house. They wanted to paint. For the turn Billy Fisher gave me a new kite, Johnny Miller a rat . Oh, from a miserable poor I became a rich guy. I spent my time pleasantly in a big company doing nothing. The fence had three coats of whitewash on it. How clever I am. I discovered the law controlling people's actions. If a person really wanted to have something, let this thing for him through difficulties. Thank you for your attention I`d recommend you to read this book.
