Конспект урока английского языка в 6 классе:

«Время праздников. Введение лексики.»

Цели урока:

Образовательная: познакомить учащихся с лексическим материалом по теме, организовать тренировку его употребления в речи.

Развивающая:

развивать навыки устной речи : говорение, чтение, аудирование; развивать умение планировать речевой поступок; развивать воображение при модулировании ситуаций общения.

Воспитательная: воспитывать культуру общения, прививать уважение к традициям своего народа и интерес к культуре страны, изучаемого языка.

Оборудование: учебник Spotlight, аудиозаписи, проигрыватель аудиофайлов, карточки со словосочетаниями по теме урока, карточки с заданиями для работы над текстом в парах, у учеников карточки с оценками 2,3,4,5.

Ход урока:

I Начало урока

1.Приветствие, организационный момент, речевая разминка.

Учитель: Good morning, my dear friends! I am glad to see you.

Ученики: We are glad to see you too.

Учитель: How are you? Ask each other how you are doing

(дети по цепочке задают друг другу вопросы и отвечают)

Учитель: Who is on duty today?

Ученик 1+2: We are.

Учитель: Who is absent today?

Ученик 1: All are present.

Учитель: Very well. What is the day of the week today?

Ученик 2: It`s Monday.

Учитель: What is the date ?

Ученик1: The twelfth of December.

Учитель: Thank you. Sit down.

II Основная часть урока

Учитель: Tell me please, my dear friends do you like holidays and parties?

Ученик 1: Yes, I do.

Учитель: And you, Polina?

Ученик 2: Yes, I like parties very much.

Учитель: So today we are going to speak about holidays and parties. Do you think this is an interesting topic?

(ответы учеников)

Учитель:What holidays do you know?

(Ученики называют известные им праздники на английском языке, учитель прикрепляет карточки с названием этих праздников на доску)

Учитель: Well, there are a lot of festivals and holidays all over the world, including our country and our region. What is your favourite holiday?

Ученик 1: My favourite holiday is New Year.

Ученик 2: And my favourite holiday is Christmas.

Ученик 3: And my favourite holiday is my birthday.

Учитель: Do you remember what people usually do during the celebration? What do you usually do during the holidays? What do you like to do on holidays? As for me I usually invite my friends, go shopping, decorate my house and make a special dish for my guests?

(опорные словосочетания записаны на доске)

Ученик 1: I usually help my parents decorate the house.

Ученик 2: I usually help my mum make a special dish.

Ученик 3: I usually help my mum do shopping.

Ученик 4: I usually help my mum clean the house.

Учитель: Now it’s time to have a look in our textbook. Open your books, page 46. Here we also have pictures showing different people’s activities during the holidays. What do these people do? Use Present Continuous to answer.

Ученик 1: The woman in picture 1 is drinking tee.

Ученик 2: The woman in picture 2 is making a special dish.

Ученик 3: The people in picture 3 are doing the washing up.

Учитель: It can be hard to decide when to use make or do in English. We usually use make when we create or construct something. For example: I make sandwiches for breakfast. He makes decorations for New Year. And we use do for general activities. For example:

What do you do on Sundays? We do our work very well.

There are many fixed expressions with make or do. You have to learn them. For example: make a phone call, do exercise

And now let`s do the exercise 1. Fill in make or do. Work in pairs.

Учитель: And now listen and check yourself.

Учитель: Look through the text on page 46.What is the email about?

Ученик 1: The email is about preparing for the New Year celebration.

Учитель: Look through the text one more time and put the paragraphs in the right order.

Now listen and check.

(Ученики прослушивают текст, проверяют правильно ли они расставили части письма.)

Учитель: Look through the text one more time and fill in the table by answering the questions. What holiday is it about? Who is writing this email? Whom is she writing to? Who are these people? What are their names? What country is it? What do they wish each other on this day? Work in pairs.

(Учитель раздаёт карточки с таблицей, в которой напечатаны вопросы. Дети должны просмотреть текст и вписать ответы. Учитель проверяет работу учащихся, корректирует, помогает.)

Учитель: Find in the text the English equivalents for the Russian phrases: Работать в саду, украшать улицы, праздновать Новый год, хорошо проводить время, делать покупки, заваривать чай, готовить украшения, приготовить блюдо, вытирать пыль, мыть посуду.

Ученик 1: do the gardening

Ученик 2: decorate the streets

Ученик 3: celebrate New Year`s Eve …

Учитель : I would like you to build your own sentences with these phrases. Let's play a game. We`ll divide the class into three teams. The first row is the first team, the second row is the second, and the third row is the third team. Each team has to build 7 sentences using the phrases you can see on the blackboard. The team with the most correct sentences will win.

(Дети работают в группах, составляя предложения с предложенными словосочетаниями, записывают их на карточках, затем представители команд зачитывают их вслух, учитель корректирует вместе с остальными учениками класса. За каждое правильно предложение команда получает 1 балл, баллы записываются на доске. Та команда, которая набрала наибольшее колличество баллов – победила.)

III Завершение урока

1.Рефлексия :

Учитель: It`s time to finish our lesson. You’ve worked a lot today. Well, it was interesting to find out what holidays you like and why and what you usually do on holidays.

So did you like the lesson?

Ученики отвечают.

Учитель: What do you think did you work well in class? Give yourself the mark for your work. Choose the right card and show me.

( Ученики показывают карточки с изображением той оценки, которую они себе поставили за урок.)

2.Оценивание работы учащихся :

Учитель: And I think you worked very well today. Your marks are...

3.Домашнее задание:

Учитель: Open your mark books and write down the home assignment for the next lesson. It`s exercise 1 page 29 in your workbook. You have to complete the sentences with the correct form of the verbs do or make .

So our lesson is over. Thank you for good job. See you next time.
