Warm up/Have the students discover the theme of the class (organizing your time) (5 min)
1.Tell the students that you have never enough time to sleep (as an example). Ask them if they do the same and what other things they don’t have enough time to do as well.
2. Ask the students what is causing you to feel that you don't have enough time. Give them prompts, for example:
• Your workplace is full of distractions (surfing the internet, listening to music, watching TV)
• You check your smart phone every three minutes
• You participate in too many hobbies, clubs or extracurricular activities.
• You feel everything you do has to be perfect
• You feel tired because you don’t get enough sleep
• You don’t plan your day
3.Ask the students what can be done to create more time for the things they want to do. Lead them to the idea that we cannot get any more time, what we can do is to manage time.
Pre-listening stage (5 min)
Tell the students that they are going to listen to a radio programme about time management. Suggest having a look at some new words before listening.
