Цели урока

Образовательная цель: совершенствование лексико-грамматических навыков устной речи обучающихся по теме урока, совершенствование навыков чтения и монологической речи, расширение знаний о возможности проведения летних каникул.

Развивающая цель: развитие речемыслительной активности, памяти, внимания, воображения обучающихся.

Воспитательная цель: воспитание культуры общения, формирование системы ценностных и нравственных ориентаций.

Коммуникативные задачи: рассказать о летнем отдыхе, подготовить сообщение о самом ярком впечатлении во время каникул.

Оснащение урока и дидактические материалы: компьютерная презентация, конверты с письмами

ХОД УРОКА

Начало урока Создание атмосферы иноязычного общения. Постановка целей урока. Good morning, boys and girls! Today we are going to have an unusual lesson. We are travelling to Lingvoland, the land of great people, who can speak English very well and like summer holidays very much. But in order to get there we need to pass different stations and do some tasks at each station. These tasks were prepared for you by the children of Lingvoland. The one who is the first to get there will be a citizen of this magic country Lingvoland. Divide into two groups, name them and decide who will be the captains If you are ready, let’s start our magic journey! (Обучающиеся с помощью учителя делятся на две группы, придумывают название своей команде и выбирают капитана.)

Основная часть урока

1. Работа над лексико-грамматическим материалом. Совершенствование лексико-грамматических навыков.

Here is the 1st station, where each team has to complete the diagram in the network with places we can stay at/in during summer holidays. (e.g. abroad, in town, in the mountains, at the seaside, in the country, at summer camp, etc).

Remember! You have only 3 minutes to do the task. Well done! Hurry up! The second station is waiting for us. 2nd station. (На экране появляется второй слайд.) Find the odd word in each line. You may use them later to describe your summer holidays: 1. Sunny, windy, rainy, seaside 2. Tables, flowers, berries, mushrooms 3. Yesterday, tomorrow, last summer, five days ago 4. Great, fantastic, boring, fun

3rd station. Here is the next task that the children of Lingvoland have prepared for you. They are not very good at English grammar but they want to write you a letter about their summer holidays and they need your help. Put the verbs into the correct form. 1. In July I (to be) in the country. 2. Nikita (to visit) his granny last Sunday. 3. There (to be) a lot of mushrooms and berries in the forest last summer. 4. Last weekend we (to go) to the mountains. 5. Ken and Liz (to come) to the seaside two hours ago. 6. I (to swim) a lot last summerHow clever you are! Let’s go to the 4th station!

1. Работа над текстом для чтения. Совершенствование навыков чтения. 4th station. What are these? These are envelopes! Maybe, they’re from the children of Lingvoland, what do you think? Let’s have a look! Oh, yes, here are some letters! But… they’re cut into pieces! Let’s try to read them and put the parts together. Каждая команда получает свой конверт с разрезанным на части письмом (образец письма см. в дидактическом комментарии) и в течение определенного учителем времени работает над текстом письма, соотнося разрезанные части. Do you like the summer of the children of Lingvoland? Make up 3 questions for the other group members about the summer holidays in Lingvoland. Затем обучающиеся составляют вопросы по содержанию текста для противоположной группы.

1. Подготовка монологического высказывания. Совершенствование навыков монологической речи. 5th station. We are arriving at the last station. Let’s have a look at what the children of Lingvoland have prepared for you. Oh, here is a CD. I’ll put it into the PC. They asked me to show you some pictures and listen to your stories about your summer holidays. You can use the following phrases (они могут быть написаны на доске или представлены в компьютерной презентации): In summer (in June, in July, in August)… We were… We saw… We played… We visited… Etc.
