Тема: "Extensive reading. Math"

Тип урока: комбинированный

Цель урока: научить читать на английском языке с полным пониманием информации.

Речевая компетенция: развивать произносительные навыки, навыки аудирования.

Языковая компетенция: употребление числительных в повседневной жизни.

Социокультурная компетенция: познакомить c достопримечательностью Лондона- Тауэром.

Компенсаторная компетенция: развивать языковые догадки и воображения, мышление, память.

Познавательный аспект: отработать навык отвечать на вопросы, употребление порядковых и количественных числительных.

Развивающий аспект: развивать психические функции, связанных с речевой деятельностью (внимание, способность к анализу и синтезу, логическое мышление, языковая догадка, зрительная и слуховая память, фонематический слух).

Учебный аспект: овладевать всеми видами речевой деятельности: говорением, аудированием, чтением и письмом.

Воспитательный аспект: повышать интерес к изучению английского языка, воспитывать культуру языкового общения, уважительного отношения друг к другу, умение внимательно слушать собеседника.

Оборудование: Мультимедийная презентация, аудиозапись, индивидуальный набор карточек с заданиями для учащихся.

Ход урока:

1. Организационный этап.

-Good morning, boys and girls. I’m glad to see you. I hope everybody is ready to work. Are you in a good mood? Sit down, please. How are you, Valery?

-          Fine.

-          Good.

-          Thanks for your answers. Now let me see: x pupils feel fine, x – good, x – so-so, and x - bad. We may say that all in all we are fine. That’s nice. So, we can begin our lesson.

- Look at the desk. Every student has his own set of tasks. Take and look at it.

2. Фонетическая зарядка.

-Now, boys and girls! Let’s practice some sounds. Repeat after me…

[f]- five, fifteen, fifty, forty-four.

[θ]-three, thirty, sixth, thirteen, thousand.

[ð]- the first, the second, the third.

[i:]- sixteen, nineteen, eighteen, seventeen.

-Look at these words. What they have in common? what unites these words? right. they are numbers. And today we'll talk about numbers in everyday life. Do you think the number is important in our lives?

- You have got sheets of paper on your tables. Your task is to find as many numbers as possible. (Карточка № 1)

- Let's check! what numbers have you found in the task? How many numbers has found Valera? tell them!

3. Речевая зарядка.

-Look at the screen. Put missing words in the sentences.

• We celebrate the new year on the first of January.

• We have five fingers on each hand.

• I'm in sixth class

• Her mother is forty-four years old.

• My younger sister is five.

4. Основной этап.

Well, We have remembered numbers and now we can start reading the text.

- Now you will hear the song again. Listen carefully and do the task in your cards. (Карточка № 5)

- Let's check! Who is Mr. Johnson? Where does he live? And now draw a line on the pictures to each person's house.

-Let's go back to the Tower of London. Imagine that you want to steal the jewels but you need the password. Here is the code for the password. It opens the safe. Let's start!
