Materials: computer, cards, pencils, feltpens

I.

Teacher: Hello. Nice to meet you! Ladies and gentlemen, I am pleased to meet you here with your important question. I am the head of an international organization. Members of my organization consider all main questions all over the world. I wonder where you from are. What are you?

Student 1: We are from the country "Happy Land". I am the head of the government and the others are the best planners.

Teacher: You presented me a picture of your question. Help me! What is the theme of your problem? (There are pictures of towns and villages on the slide).

Students are referred to guess the topic of the lesson.

The teacher proposes to determine

- Aims of the lesson (there are the inverted cards with the aims on the blackboard).

The teacher proposes to define purpose of the lesson: What do you think what aims of our meeting we will be discussing. Students determine the aims of the lesson.

There is a slide with a proverb(There is no place like home).

The teacher proposes to create a project to improve the city and the village, there are words, phrases on the slide which students can use (…..will definitely continue to grow…
…… will certainly go on…
…..could /may well increase(decrease)…

IV Time

.-Work in groups (students create the project, it is given 7 minutes for this work). One of the students is the teacher’s helper who helps other students in the preparation of the project.

After 7 minutes, each group presents its project.

-Student 1(the teacher’s helper): Dear planners, I suppose you have to vote for these projects. We should choose the best one.

. Teacher turns on music, pupils sing a song «It's beautiful life» (there are singers’ photos in the screen).

- Summarizing. Reflection: 1) Did we reach our aims? 2) What did you like best of all?

- Evaluation.
