Marine Litter

We all enjoy a day out at the beach. When we go to the beach we expect to see yellow sand, blue sea and a lot of sunshine. 1) … However, many of the thousands of people that visit beaches every year leave behind food containers, cigarette ends, drink cans and toys. These can be blown or washed into the sea and become marine litter. Marine litter can also come from ships, fishermen and factories (заводы). This litter doesn’t just look terrible – it’s dangerous, too!

Marine litter can be a great danger for marine mammals (млекопитающие). Use Less Stuff!
