He was almost totally deaf but it didn’t prevent him from composing 9 symphonies and 32 piano sonatas. They are still well-known and admired all over the world.

• At the age of three she got into an unclosed transformer booth in a village near Yakutsk. After the strongest electric shock she remained alive, but doctor could not save her hands.
