The village was founded by prospectors. Firstly it was named as Alexandrovskiy mine.

Поселок был основан старателями. Сначала он был назван Александровским рудником.

The most famous golden nuggets were found there: the big triangle, hares ears

Самые знаменитые самородки были найдены там: Заячьи уши и Большой треугольник.

You can see Lake Pudovoye from the window of the museum. There was founded a nugget in 16 kilos.

Из окна музея можно увидеть озеро Прудовое. Там был найден самородок весом в 16 килограммов.
