Тема: Погода и одежда

Цель: Расширить словарный запас учащихся, углубить знания по теме, учить учащихся лексике по теме, учить употреблять изученную лексику в устной и письменной речи, развивать навыки говорения, чтения, письма, развивать языковую догадку, память, внимание, логическое и творческое мышление учащихся. Воспитывать вежливость, взаимоуважение и взаимопомощь.

Оборудование: учебники, тетради, презентация, тематические рисунки, раздаточный материал.

Ход урока

И. Начало урока. Приветствие. Введение и иноязычную атмосферу. Фонетическая и речевая разминка.Teacher: Good morning! How are you? It’s time to begin our lesson. Well, І see you’re in a good mood today. So, let’s begin our lesson. (Singing song)

1. Weather domino.(работа в парах)

2. Мовленнєва розминка

Teacher:  Do you like today’s weather?

Pupils: Yes, I do. / No,І don’t.

Teacher: What is the weather like today?

Pupils: Іt is… today. ( cold, rainy, cloudy, snowy,  sunny,  stormy)

 Teacher: How many seasons are there in a year?

Pupils: There are … seasons.

Teacher: What season is it?

Pupils: It is …

Teacher: Do you like winter?

Pupils: Yes, I do. / No, І don’ t.

Teacher: What weather do you like/dislike? Look at the screen and say

Pupils: - I like… (cold, rainy, cloudy, snowy,  sunny,  stormy, foggy,  windy,  wet)    weather.

-         I dislike (cold, rainy, cloudy, snowy, sunny, stormy, foggy, windy,wet) weather.

Teacher: Very well. Sometimes the weather is not very comfortable,but people say «There is no bad weather – there are bad clothes». I hope you understood that the topic of our lesson is “Clothes and weather”. At our lesson we shall read, write, speak in English, do interesting tasks to show what we can do on theme “Clothes”. Many names of clothes came to us from the English language. Their names almost coincide with Russian. Do you know them?  ( Sweater, jeans, jumper, cap, uniform, bandana, sandals, cardigan, pullover, boots)

II. Основная часть.

1. Активизация тематических лексическтих единиц.

а) Vocabulary revision.( видео chant)

Teacher: We’ve learnt a lot of words to the topic “Weather and Clothes”. Your task is to sort out the word-combinations into two groups “Weather” and “Clothes”.

cold winter                        a slippery

windy weather                   hot summer

grey raincoat                     black boots

blue jeans yellow T-shirt

(ученики по очереди выходят к доске, зачитывают словосочетания и прикрепляют к соответствующей колонки)

b) Play the guessing game in a group.

Teacher: Say what is the weather now

Pupils: I need…..

с)  Guess the weather

Teacher: Look at the screen. Read and guess what the weather is like.

1     It"s so cold and I can"t see anything.              It"s

2     Hurray! Everything is white!                          It"s

3     Oh, I haven"t got my umbrella. I"ll get wet.     It"s

4      We can go swimming in the sea.                    It"s

5     It"s Look! The sky is grey. There is no sun.           It"s

6     Look, the papers and leaves are flying like birds. It"s

d) Choose the clothes

Teacher: Children, let’s work in your workbooks. Combine words with number. Физкультминутка

Teacher:I think we need some activities. Let’s stand up and repeat after me:

I’m wearing a cap on my head,

I’m wearing a boot on my foot,

I’m wearing gloves two – one, two

I’m wearing my coat, and go for a walk.

We had a little rest and now let’s go on our work. Sit down, please.

2. Упражнения на употребление изученной лексики в устной речи и на письме..

а)   Solve the riddles.

Teacher: And now let’s solve the riddles. More than one answer is possible.

1         Girls and boys can wear…. when it is cool

2         Men often wear…..

3         You can wear … with a skirt, dress or trousers.

4         A businessman usually wears … with a shirt

5         Women like wearing … in winter.

6         For our PE classes we usually wear tracksuits and ….

7 Pupils of our school wear … as their uniform.

c) Формирование навыков чтения и говорения.

Teacher: Listen and read, then act out the dialogue in pairs.

Jane: Mum! What is the weather like today?

Mother: It is warm….Hey, what are you wearing?

Jane: Well, I am wearing my favourite dress and shoes ...

d)  Finish the sentences.

Teacher: Look at the screen and finish the sentences.

At school I usually wear...

I  never wear...

My father usually wears...... at work.

He doesn"t wear......  at home.

My mum likes to wear...... at home.

She doesn"t like to wear....... at home.

c) Проверка домашнего задания.

Teacher: Well done, boys and girls. (проектні роботи « My favourite  clothes and weather»)
