Цели:

Образовательная цель – практика в обобщении полученных знаний, научить делать устное сообщение по ЗОЖ в конкретной речевой ситуации

Воспитательная цель – воспитывать у учащихся внимательное отношение к своему здоровью

Развивающая цель – развивать умения и навыки коммуникативного общения с использованием ЛЕ по теме “Sport and Health”

1. Introduction –


Good morning, how are you?


How do you feel? I am very glad to see everybody. Today we are going to discuss some questions about sport and our health.


Group these activities into indoor and outdoor sports:

We’ve got a letter to our school newspaper. It is from a seventh-former who started smoking. You should be able to help this pupil and give your opinion about his problem.


Аудирование письма. My name is N. I am a seventh-former. Not long ago I began to smoke. Certainly on the one hand I know that smoking is dangerous. And I don’t like the taste of cigarettes. But on the other hand my classmates called me names, and I want to look more grown-up than I really am. I think that smoking adds something to my image – I am classy. Well, can you help me to realize what should I do?

In the U.K. there are both professional and amateur teams (football).

“Physical Education in English Schools”.


English schoolchildren have two types of lessons of physical education: gymnastics lessons and games, especially team games. At the lessons of physical education they run and jump, they do exercises on the horse, they play volleyball or basketball.
