Урок английского языка в 9 классе "Music in out life"

Цель урока:  выработка умений применять полученные знания на практике, оперировать имеющимся лексико-грамматическим потенциалом, формирование коммуникативной компетенции учащихся посредством информационно-коммуникативных технологий и интерактивных методов обучения.

Задачи урока:

Образовательный аспект: Повторить лексику по теме “Music”, учить составлять простые и сложные предложения по теме на английском языке, развивать навыки чтения текста с извлечением нужной информации, учить читать диалоги по теме и понимать их, учить составлять монологическое высказывание по теме “Our favourite music”.

Развивающий аспект: Развивать внимание, способность к анализу и синтезу, логическое мышление, память, языковую догадку.

Воспитательный аспект: Повышать интерес к изучению английского языка, воспитывать культуру языкового общения, уважительное отношение друг к другу, умение работать в паре и группах, воспитывать любовь к музыке, понимание роли музыки в жизни человека.

Тип урока: обобщение и актуализация знаний

Формы работы: фронтальная, парная, групповая

Оборудование: книги, компьютер, диск с разными песнями, проектор, тексты для чтения, раздаточный материал.

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент.

Good morning, boys and girls. I am glad to see you again. Sit down, please. Are you ready to start our lesson? I think we can start.

And now about the topic of our lesson. (Учитель включает музыку и говорит) Boys and girls! Music is a great power. I think music makes us very happy. What is our topic today? (Учащиеся формулируют тему урока, которая записана на доске и переводят.) Yes, you are right.

The topic of our lesson: Music in our life.

2. Цель урока.

The aim of our lesson is to discuss about the role of music in our life. So we’ll repeat words, make up sentences, read and understand the text about different types of music. (Дети помогают учителю формулировать задачи, с помощью которых достигается цель урока.)

3. Речевая зарядка.

(Учитель задаёт вопросы по теме, учащиеся отвечают )

- What is music for you?

- What music do you like to listen when you have free time?

- How can music influence people?

-T: Do you like to listen to music?

-T: Do you like to listen rap?

-T: Do you play any musical instrument?

-T: What kind of music do you prefer?

-T: Have you got an MP3-player?

-T: Do your parents like the same music as you?

-T: What do you think about when you listen to music?

P1: When I listen to music it pictures in my mind days off.

P2: When I listen to music it makes me remember happy days.

P3: When I listen to music it makes me think of different seasons.

P4. When I listen to music I forget about everything.

P5. When I listen to music I want to sing and dance.

P6. When I listen to music I dream about my future life.

P7. When I listen to music I see green forests, high mountains, deep sees and rivers.

P8. When I listen rap I think about -my friends, party with my friends.

-T. Where can we hear music?

P4. We can hear music everywhere: in concert halls, shops, on TV, over the radio, in the parks, at homes, in transport and even in the street.

-T: But what role does music play in your life?

P1: Music helps me to work and to rest.

P2. Music helps me to live and to learn.

P3. It reflects our mood, our state of soul, our style of life.

P4: Music appeals to our hearts and feelings.

P5: Music transforms our feelings.

Teacher: I see you are fond of different types of music. It’s very well. Today we’ll speak about the role of music in our life.

4. Актуализация ранее изученного лексического материала. Teacher: Our work begins from the words about “Music”. Do you know these words well? Let’s work in pair.

(Учащиеся проверяют друг у друга слова по теме “Music”и оценивают свои ответы)

Music, soap opera, pop, folk, rock, hip-hop, electro, sing, country,

listen, hear, melody, turn off, turn down, types, song, musical instrument.

Teacher: Children, you know words very well. Now we’ll read about different genres of music.

Now I’ll read some information about kinds of music and you must fill the table.

5. Чтение мини - текстов по теме “The genres of music”.

Teacher: The world of music is rich and varied, isn`t it?

Pupil1: Yes, it is. There are different genres and styles in music such as classical music that appeals to both our senses and intellect.

Teacher: Match the musical terms and definitions. ( учащиеся читают мини-тексты, которые лежат у каждого на парте, определяют музыкальные направления)

Jazz; Symphony; Rock; Pop; Rap, Folk.

T. 1. Some people say it is difficult to understand this music. It is played by big orchestras. If you listen to this music often enough and attentively, you will enjoy Mozart and Beethoven, Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich. (Symphony)

2. This music is popular mostly with young people. It is performed by modern electronic instruments. There are hard and heavy-metal styles. (Rock)

3. This music lives for centuries. Every nation has its own national music and dance ensembles. (Folk)

4. It is a musical style where the singer speaks or shouts the words. (Rap)

5. It is an American style of music. It was created by black Americans. The constant elements are improvisation. (Jazz)

6. You can hear this music every day and everywhere. There are a lot of musical groups who perform this kind of music. (Pop)

6. Минутка отдыха 

Teacher: Are you tiered? Let’s have a break.(музыкальная пауза)

I have a surprise for you. Let’s listen to music.

7. Проверка домашнего задания.

Theacher: Now, let's check the homework. It was to write a short story about your favorite singer.

8. Работа с текстом в раб.тетради ex.2 p.52. (степени сравнения прилагательных)

Teacher: You've worked hard todayю. We see that it is impossible to live without music and you can hardly find a person, who doesn't like or need music, who never sings or dances.

9. Подведение итогов урока, рефлексия, оценки, задание на дом.

Teacher: Thank you for your work today. Children, what did we do on the lesson? (На экране появляется пример Синквейна, с его помощью дети подводят итог урока и составляют свои примеры)

You really did your best and I am extremely pleased to have such good pupils. Maybe you have some questions. We can speak and tell much else but it is time to finish. Open your diaries and write down our home task And your task for the next lesson is to write about your favourite music.
