Poems devoted to parents

I love mother she loves me

We love daddy, yes sire

He loves us and so you see

We are a happy family

Mother is the dearest of all the friends I know,

She helps me work and helps me play

That is why I love her so.

Father is the dearest of all the friends I know

He likes to take me out with him

That is why I love him so.

I love sister, She loves me, we love brother, Yes sire,

He loves us and so you see, we are a happy family.

My dear mummy, I love you very much

I want you to be happy on the 8th of March.

Be happy; be happy on the 8th of March,

Be happy; be happy on the 8th of March.

Help your mother set the table

With a knife and fork and spoon.

Help your mother set the table, every afternoon.

Here is my mother, here is my father,

Here is my sister, here is my brother.

What is your name? What is your name?

Now tell me please, what is your name?

My name is Jenny, my name is Jenny

My name is Jenny that is my name.

How old are you, how old are you?

I am ten that is my age.

Where are you from? Where are you from?

I am from London, I am from London,

I am from London, I am from London.

Reciting Poems

Pussy cat, pussy cat, where have you been?

I have been to mother, to see my dear brother.

Pussy cat, pussy cat, what did you do there?

I frightened a little mouse under the chair.

Billy, Billy come and play, while the sun shines bright today.

Yes my Polly, so I will, for I like to please you still

Billy, Billy do you see, Tom and Lena behind the tree?

Yes, my Polly, I see them well, running and playing with little

Billy, Billy come along, I shall sing a pretty song,

Oh, then Polly, I shall make haste,

Not one moment wilI waist.

Spring is green, summer is bright

Autumn is yellow, winter is white

I have a dog, his name is Jack

His coat is white with spots of black.

I take him out, most every day,

Such fun we have, we run and play.

Breakfast in the morning, dinner in the day,

Tea comes after dinner, and then comes time to play.

Supper in the evening, when the sky is red,

Then the day is over and we go to bed.

Winter is white, springtime is green.

Summer is golden and autumn is flame.

Four lovely seasons to make up a year,

Sing them by color and sing them by name.

Together, together, together every day

Together, together we work and play.

Together, together we read our book each day.

Together, together we write our exercises,

Together, together we work and play.

Performance «My Mother»

1st pupil: Who fed me when I was child and hushed me inher arms so mild?

All together: My mother!

2nd pupil: Who sat and watched my childish head, when sleeping in my little bed?

All together: My mother!

3rd pupil: When pain and sickness made me cry, who looked upon my heavy eyes?

All together: My Mother

4th pupil: Who dressed my doll in clothes so gay and taught me often how to play?

All together: My Mother

5th pupil: Who ran to help me, when I fell and some funny stories tell?

All together: My Mother

6th pupil: And can I ever stop to be, so loving and so kind to see, who is so very kind to me?

All together: My Mother

All together: And when you are sick and old my healthy arm shall be your stay and I will calm your pains away!

Reciting Poem “Twelve Months”

January brings me snow, makes our feet and fingers glow

February snows again, and sometimes it brings us rain

March brings sunny days and winds, so we know that spring begins

April brings the primrose sweet, so we see daisies at our feet

May brings flowers, joy and grass and the holiday for us

June brings tulips, lilies, roses, fills the children’s hands with posies

Hot July brings apples and cherries and a lot of other berries

August brings us golden corn, then the harvest home is born

Warm September brings us school, days are shorter, nights are cool

Fresh October brings much fruit, then to gather them is good

Red November brings us joy,fun for every girl and boy

Cold December brings us skating, for the New Year we are waiting

Reciting poems”The Snowflakes” “The New year Bells”

See the pretty snowflakes falling from the sky,

On the wall and housetops, soft and thick they lie

On the window ledges, on the branches bare see how fast they gather, filling all the air

Look into the garden,, where the grass was green, covered by the snowflakes, not a leaf is seen

Now the bare branch bushes, all looked soft and white

See the snowflakes falling what a pretty sight

Don’t forget the birdies, now that winter comes

Think they may be hungry, scatter out your crumbs

Jingle,jingle,jingle out upon the air

Jingle,jingle, jingle,jingle New Year everywhere

Jingle,jingle, jingle,jingle New Year everywhere

Riddles

It is running night and day,

But it never runs away (a watch)

I don’t know the ABC,

But I am writing as you see (a pencil)

I draw everything for you (a pencil)

My face is black, as black as night,

On it with chalk all pupils write (a blackboard)

This house on wheels is running a race.

Taking people from place to place (a bus)

In the steppes or in the see, it will show my way to me

Even in the thickest wood its orientation is good (a compass)

Reciting Poems New Year, the Grand New Year

A happy New Year. The day is so clear

The snow is so white, the sky is so bright

We shout with all might, a happy New Year!

It’s coming boys, it’s almost here

It’s coming girls, the grand New Year

A year to be glad in, not to be sad in

A year to live in, to gain, to give in

New things to learn, new friends to meet

New songs to sing, new joys to greet

New things to see, new things to hear

New things to do, in this glad New Year

Little mouth, little mouth, where is your house?

Little cat, little cat, I have no flat.

I am a poor mouse, I have no house.

Little mouse, little mouse, and come to my house

Little cat, little cat, I cannot do that you want to eat me!

Choir “May There Always be Sunshine”

Bright blue the sky, sun up on high

He drew for you, wrote for you too

Just to make clear what he drew

May there always be sunshine

May there always be blue sky

May there always be me!
