ПАМЯТКА ПО ВЫПОЛНЕНИЮ ЗАДАНИЯ ПО ПИСЬМУ: НАПИСАНИЕ СТАТЬИ

Article Writing Strategies
1. Before you start writing an article think
• why you are going to write it ( what made you write it),
• whom you are going to write it for,
• what is the aim of your writing it
2. Then decide what form of an article it would be better to use. Use a wide range of vocabulary, especially adjectives and linkers and grammar forms to make your article interesting.
3. Don’t forget 
• to give an interesting, eye-catching title to your article, introducing the topic,
• to make an introduction to present the topic of your article,
• to cover all the points of the plan suggested in the assignment, while writing the main part of the article,
• to summerise the content of your article and to make a conclusion, containing your or other people’s opinions, suggestions or recommendations.
4. Don’t forget to divide your article into paragraphs.
5. After finishing your writing, 
• count the number of the words you’ve written (you may write 200-250 words),
• read your text attentively to make sure you have written all the words correctly and used the correct grammar-forms, don’t forget about the rules of punctuation, 
• make sure you have used enough linking words and phrases correctly, to make your article logical and easy-readable.
7. Make sure you have covered all the points of the plan.
