Практическое занятие № 34

Тема: «At a bookstore. Развитие навыков диалогической речи»

Цель: Выработать и закрепить навык употребления изученного грамматического материала

Выработать навык устной речи по изучаемой теме (составление диалогические высказывания по теме)

Оборудование: 1. Учебники; 2. Раздаточный материал.

Задание 1. Прочитайте, переведите и инсценируйте диалог (35 минут):

• Mike: Good afternoon, Sofia! Nice to see you again! How are you doing?

• Sofia: Hello! I’m fine, thank you. What about you? Have you got any news?

• Mike: Everything is good as always. I just finished my work and was going to have lunch. And what are you going to do now?

• Sofia: I’m going to the local bookstore. It’s very close to my place. Would you like to go with me? After that we can find cafe or a cheap restaurant. 

• Mike: Sure, why not. What do you prefer to read?

• Sofia: Actually I can’t choose only one genre. I really like reading books. Today for example I can read science fiction and tomorrow I can take an  old dusty French novel from the shelf. 

• Mike: I see. Well I wonder if you can give me a piece of advice. My girlfriend has a birthday soon. She is a kind and naive person so I want to buy a special book for her. What kind of book can  you recommend?

• Sofia: Hmm… Maybe “Jane Eyre”? it’s a novel written by Charlotte Bronte. This story is about a  girl who lived in hard conditions of life. She had loveless and dull childhood and she had to solve many problems in time of her adulthood. But the main character was well-bred and strongly principled. These qualities helped her to make her life happy despite everything.

• Mike: Sounds good. I have never read this book but I will find it. I think my darling will be pleased with the  present. Thank you!

• Sofia: Not at all. I hope she will like it.

Задание 2. Переведите диалог «В книжном магазин» с английского языка на русский (15 минут)
Продавец: Доброе утро. Могу я вам помочь?
Покупатель: Да, я ищу книгу в подарок.
Продавец. Роман?
Покупатель: Я предпочитаю путеводитель.
Продавец: У нас есть один с превосходными фотографиями.

Задание 3. Какие из следующих прилагательных можно применить для описания книг и журналов? В парах составьте диалог с использованием этих слов (20 минут):

Short, cheap, messy,  everyday, old-fashioned, striped, tidy, expensive, beautiful, dark, checked, pink, black and white, formal, fantastic, boring, long, bright, summer, smart, baggy, tight

Задание 4. Прочитайте диалог и ответьте на вопросы (20 минут):

Hi! My name's Ellie. I‘m from Britain .It isn't cold. I wear a sweatshirt, a jacket and trainers.

Hi! My name's Kathy. I'm from Australia. Right now it's hot and sunny in Australia. I wear shorts and a T-shirt.

Hello! My name's Sasha. I'm from Belarus. It's very cold in winter. It snows! I wear a coat, a scarf and a hat.

Hello! My name's Tim. I'm from Texas, USA. It's warm in winter. I wear jeans and a sweater.

Критерии:

Оценка «5» - Поставленные задачи (чтение, перевод текста, лексико-грамматические упражнения, составление диалогических высказываний, ответы на вопросы) решены полностью, применение лексики адекватно коммуникативной задаче, грамматические ошибки либо отсутствуют, либо не препятствуют решению коммуникативной задачи

Оценка «4» - Коммуникативная задача решена полностью, но понимание текста незначительно затруднено наличием грамматических и/или лексических ошибок.

Оценка «3» - Коммуникативная задача решена, но понимание текста затруднено наличием грубых грамматических ошибок или неадекватным употреблением лексики.

Оценка «2» - Коммуникативная задача не решена ввиду большого количества лексико-грамматических ошибок или недостаточного объема текста.
