Last Sunday Lena’s father Alexei spent all day in the garage. It took him five hours to do the place and to wash the car. While he was busy in the garage, the family were busy in the house. His wife Maria was cooking a Sunday dinner. She made all the dishes her husband and her children loved. She even baked their favourite apple pie. Lena was busy too. She was painting a picture of their garden. She wanted to have it ready for her father’s birthday and give it to him as a present. Yura was doing his lessons and reading his favourite book «Two Captains». He wanted to finish the book that day because he knew that Lena would like to read it too. At seven o’clock all the family were sitting around their dinner table eating. They were enjoying the dinner.

Alexei spent all day in the garage

Lena was painting a picture of their garden.

Yura was doing his lessons and reading his favourite book “Two Captains”

At seven o’clock all the family were sitting around their dinner table eating
