     Scientific and technological advances of the twentieth century allow people to overcome time and distance, covering a huge expanse of our planet. The whole world is open for us and travelling has become a popular global leisure activity. Limitations of the past no longer exist. Contemporary rhythm is impossible without travelling. In big cities, for example, most people travel to school, university or work almost every day. For many, the road from home to work is a real journey. We ride a subway; take a bus or a taxi. Periodically, we have to travel to other cities or countries for business. Once or twice a year people go on vacation, as they don’t like spending holidays at home.
