SIMPLE - V

Present simple

Действие происходит регулярно в настоящем, факты – V1, ИЛИ HE, SHE, IT+Vs

I play football every day

He plays football every day

Usually,every day(week,month,year), sometimes,seldom,oftenalways

Past simple

Действие произошло в прошлом, нет связи с настоящим, есть указатель-V2 или окончание -ed

I played football yesterday

I went to school yesterday

Yesterday, last week(month,year), 5 days ago, the day before yesterday

Future simple

Действие произойдет в будущем, часто незапланированно – WILL+V1

I will play football tomorrow

Tomorrow,next week(month,year), in 5 minutes, in an hour

CONTINUOUS – BE + V-ing

Present continuous

Действие длится в данный момент, началось и еще не закончилось, часто длится в момент речи. – BE (AM,IS,ARE)+Ving

She is playing football now

I am playing football now

We are playing now

Now, at the moment, at present, Look! Listen! Hurry up! still

Past continuous

Действие длилось в определенный момент или период в прошлом – BE (WAS, WERE) + Ving. Всегда есть четкий указатель момента (периода)

I was playing football from 2 till 4pm yesterday

When I met them, they were playing football

From 2 till 4pm yesterday, the whole day yesterday, at 5pm yesterday, when I met (saw etc.) Jack…

Future continuous

Действие будет длиться в определенный момент в будущем – WILL+BE+Ving

I will be playing football from 5 till 7 pm tomorrow

At 5pm tomorrow, from 2 till 4pm tomorrow, the whole day tomorrow

PERFECT – HAVE + V3

Present perfect

Действие произошло, но имеет результат в настоящем, нет указателя прошедшего времени – HAVE, HAS + V3

I have already written the test

She has never been to London

Already,never,just,yet, ever, today, this week, for ages, recently, lately

Past perfect

Действие произошло до какого-то момента в прошлом – HAD + V3

I had cooked the dinner before my mother came home

After, before, by 5 pm yesterday (к 5 часам вчерашнего дня)

Future perfect

Действие произойдет до какого-то момента в будущем – WILL+HAVE+V3

I will have arrived in London by 5 pm tomorrow

By 5 pm tomorrow

PERFECT CONTINUOUS – HAVE + BEEN + V-ing

Present perfect continuous

Действие длилось какое-то время и имеет результат в настоящем (может, даже и не закончилось) – HAVE,HAS+BEEN+Ving

I feel tired. I have been running for 2 hours

For 2 hours(days,weeks etc.), since morning, since I went to school, since my childhood, since 2008, how long

Past perfect continuous

Действие длилось какое-то время до определенного момента в прошлом – HAD+BEEN+Ving

She felt tired. She had been already running for 2 hours.

Сочетается с обычным прошедшим

Future perfect continuous

Действие будет длиться какое-то время до определенного момента в будущем

WILL+HAVE+BEEN+Ving

She’ll have been running for 2 hours before you come here
