Тема: The Crimea is a mysterious place

Цели: развитие коммуникативной компетенции учащихся, совершенствование навыков устной речи.

Задачи:

1.Обучающие – обучение ведению дискуссии по теме; совершенствование устной монологической; расширение словарного запаса при обсуждении темы.

2.Воспитательные - воспитание положительных качеств характера: толерантности и любви к родному краю.

3. Развивающие – развивать умения логически мыслить, обобщать, делать выводы и заключения.

Оборудование: презентация PowerPoint, раздаточный материал, видеоматериал, доска.

Ход мероприятия:

ОРГМОМЕНТ. Слайд 1. Слово учителя. Good afternoon, dear guests, girls and boys. Let's start our usual "unusual" lesson. Firstly, I'd like you to answer my question. Where were you born? Were you born in the Crimea? Отвечают несколько учеников. I see that most of you were born in the Crimea. Now look at the pictures and say what can you see? So what are we going to speak about today?

ВЫЗОВ. Слайд 2. Ассоциативный ряд. What is your region associated with when you hear its name? Переход к рассказам обучающихся о регионе (история, герб, и тд.). So today the aim of our lesson is to visit different places of the Crimea and to discover lots of interesting facts about our region. Let’s start with the common information of the Crimea. Listen and complete the text but at first read and translate the words. Слайд 3.
