Методическая разработка реализует игровые технологии в обучении в рамках внеклассной работы студентов и включает страноведческий материал по теме GreatBritain, составленный на основе различных интернет-источников по слегка измененным правилам телевизионной игры «Своя Игра»

Внеклассное мероприятие: страноведческая игра- викторина

Тема:  Соединенное Королевство Великобритании и Северной Ирландии

Курс: 1-2

Цель: расширить и углубить знания обучающихся о Соединенном Королевстве Великобритании и Северной Ирландии, в частности об истории, культуре, традициях, обычаях этой страны.

Задачи:

Образовательные: Расширение культуроведческой осведомленности о современном социокультурном портрете страны

Воспитательные: Воспитание интереса и положительного отношения к изучаемому языку

Развивающие: Развитие речемыслительной деятельности обучающихся; развитие логики, способности к догадке, развитие навыков контроля и самоконтроля; развитие умения работать индивидуально и коллективно

Оснащение:

проектор, компьютер, интерактивная компьютерная презентация PowerPoint, флаги Великобритании и Англии, тематические плакаты :HistoryofGreatBritain, London, SymbolsofGreatBritain.

Описание игры:

В викторине участвуют две команды. Команды по очереди выбирают номинацию с вопросами. Каждый вопрос имеет определенную «цену» от 10 до 50 баллов. На обсуждение вопроса и ответа дается до 20 секунд. Если ответ верен, команда получают определенное количество баллов. В случае неверного ответа, вторая команда получает право ответить на этот вопрос и заработать дополнительное количество баллов. Затем очередь переходит к другой команде. Выигрывает та команда, которая наберет наибольшее количество баллов.Каждый вопрос и ответ на него помещён на отдельный слайд и сопровождается различными красочными иллюстрациями.

Викторина «Соединенное Королевство Великобритании и Северной Ирландии» состоит из 7 тем , в каждой из которых по 5 вопросов. Названиетем:London, Discover Britain, Political Outlook ,Geographical Outlook,The History of Britain, British Education ,Famous Writers and Poets.

Вступительное слово о Великобритании. Знакомство с необычными фактами и достопримечательностями страны ( просмотр видеофрагментов).

Today we have 2 teams : The British Geeks (TO-21) and Fans of English (S-22)

Now listen to the rules of our quiz. The rules are very simple. The quiz consists of 7 rounds; each of them includes 5 questions. These questions deal with the English history, geography, culture and literature.

If the team can answer correctly the question, it will get some points. If they give the wrong answer or no answer, I’ll ask another team. Teams take it in turns to start answer. Answers must be given within 20 seconds. If you take longer than 20 seconds your turn passes to the other team. It gets a chance to answer and get the points. The team which answers the most questions at the end of the game wins.
