Методический семинар в КОИРО совместно
с языковой школой «Эксперт»
В методических семинарах, организованных КОИРО совместно с языковой школой «Эксперт» c 24 по 26 июня 2024 г., обсуждались вопросы в области обучения и научно-педагогического сопровождения педагогических работников г.Калининграда и области. Научно-педагогическое сопровождение педагогов включает:
- профессиональная переподготовка
- педагогические изменения (измерения)
- цифровизация образования
- квалификации
- повышение качества образования
- развитие наставничества
24 июня 2024 г. педагоги прослушали лекции методистов Анастасии Зубовской и Натальи Онтруп на английском языке на тему: “Presenting Grammar”и выполняли задания в области грамматики и аудирования английского языка; методах и приёмах, подходах и продуктивных видах деятельности. Обсуждали стадии урока:
- Lead in. Building Context. Audio
- Listening for gist. Listen to journalist talking about.
- Work individually. Listen again and fill the gips with wrds.
- Check your answers.
- Highlighting the target.
- Guided discovery. Clarifying TL. Meaninng and form CCOs.
- Language practice: controlled practice (focus on accuracy).

Teaching listening skills
What does listening involve?
Listening is the most challenging of the skill.
Main difficulties learners face:
Catching the sounds
Understanding every word
Understanding fast natural speech
Catching the main ideas
Understanding natural accents
Interpreting intonation
Different ways of listening
Listening children a clear purpose in mind
Dealing with unfamilia vocabulary
(pre-teaching)
The stages of a listening lesson
Before:
Lead-in: engage to repeat the listening several times with a series of listen tasks.
After:
Language focus: you might choose to focus on some of the language in the text, such as new vocabulary expressions, or a particular structure of function.

1 часть: теоретическая

Warm-up: We walked around the room and talked to as many different teachers as possible. Then we asked questions to find 3 teachers that we had at least 3 things in common with during 10 min.

Situational: What could their teachers do to help?
Mary used to hate speaking lessons when the teacher made me speak. I was scared!
Ann: My teacher often asks me to talk about what I think about politics or crime. I don’t really like talking about things like that.
Vera: I think I learn much from discussion in class: the teacher never corrects us when we make mistakes.
Sergey: I don’t like speaking lessons much because the other students are much better than me and I don’t get a chance to say very much.
