Drones Combat drones, or unmanned aerial vehicles, enable troops to deploy weapons in war while safely remaining thousands of miles away from the front lines of the battlefield. As such, the lives of drone pilots are not in danger, which helps the military limit the number of combat fatalities. In the U.S. military, the use of drones is expanding across all branches of operational forces.

Fly-by-wire technology Fly-by-wire technology replaces manual flight controls with an electronic interface that uses signals generated by a computer and transmitted by wires to move control mechanisms. The introduction of fly-by-wire systems in aircraft enabled more precise computer guidance and control. For instance, fly-by-wire systems could automatically help stabilize airplanes, without relying on manual inputs from the pilot.

Submarines Submarines revolutionized naval warfare by introducing underwater vessels capable of attacking enemy ships. The first successful submarine attack on a warship occurred during the American Civil War, which lasted from 1861 to 1865. In February 1864, the Confederate submarine CSS H.L. Hunley sank the USS Housatonic in the waters off South Carolina. Today, the military uses submarines to carry missiles, conduct reconnaissance, support land attacks, and establish blockades.

Zircon missile High-precision, hypersonic anti-ship cruise missile Zircon worth 2 million. $can sink an aircraft carrier that costs almost $5 billion. This is a worthy response from the US Navy, which was previously considered invincible. Due to the record high speed (8 times faster than sound), the missile cannot be intercepted by any anti-missile system. According to experts, it is assumed that over the next 30 years the rocket will remain relevant. The Zircon tests were successfully completed in April 2017 and the Russian navy ships will be equipped with the missile next year.

mig 35 fighter The MiG-35 military fighter of the

mig 35 fighter

The MiG-35 military fighter of the "4++" generation was developed by JSC "RSK MiG". The aircraft is characterized by a number of advantages compared to the previous 29 model. The main ones are reduced radar visibility, increased ammunition, reliability and unpretentiousness, as well as modern equipment with a defense complex with electronic warfare means. For the first time, the fighter took to the air in November 2016, and in January 2017, test tests began. The first batch of 30 aircraft will be delivered to the Russian Aerospace Forces in 2020.

cruise missile The state Corporation

cruise missile

The state Corporation "Tactical Missile Armament" has begun the development of a cruise missile controlled by artificial intelligence. The rocket will be able to make decisions on its own about the choice of altitude, speed and flight path, as well as independently search and choose a target.
