Методическая разработка темы "Новочеркасск – столица Донского казачества" для обучающихся 7-8 классов. В разработке предлагаются разнообразные упражнения по развитию лексических и коммуникативных компетенций, аудирования и чтения. Практические задания содержат достаточное количество материала для усвоения представленной темы. Разработка дополнена аудио и видео приложениями, картой Новочеркасска, а также итоговым контрольным заданием по теме.

Пояснительная записка

В рамках проводимой Министерством образования РФ образовательной политики в нашей стране важное место занимает национально-региональный компонент как часть общегосударственного содержания образования. В век высоких технологий теряется нить, которая связывает нас с прошлым, настоящим и будущим. Современный человек должен восстановить и сохранить ту хрупкую нить, что и предполагает национально-региональный компонент.

Цель данного методического пособия: расширить запас лексических единиц английского языка на основе регионального компонента.

Методическая разработка решает следующие задачи:

• познакомить обучающихся с историей возникновения города;

• развивать коммуникативные навыки во всех видах речевой деятельности;

• воспитывать у обучающихся культуру общения.

Методическая разработка темы «Новочеркасск – столица Донского казачества» представляет собой серию практических заданий, связанных между собой, и итогового контроля для обучающихся 7-8 классов.

Разработка состоит из трёх частей. В первой части уделяется внимание лексике и работе с текстом, во второй части – аудированию, в третьей – развитию диалогической речи. В начале каждой части предлагаются грамматические упражнения для снятия трудностей при работе с текстами, аудировании и коммуникации. В конце изучения темы итоговое контрольное лексико-грамматическое задание (с ключами), которое поможет определить уровень усвоения материала.

Разработка имеет красочные иллюстрации, и приложения (карта Новочеркасска, аудио и видео файлы). В аудио приложении имеются аудио записи к упражнениям, в видео приложении - файлы фотографии с видами Новочеркасска, презентации и документальный фильм о Новочеркасске.

Для реализации темы используются:

- образовательные технологии и методы обучения: практическая, коммуникативная, ИКТ, CLIl;

- формы работы обучающихся: групповые, индивидуальные.

Методическая разработка предназначена для преподавателей довузовских образовательных учреждений Министерства обороны РФ, а также специалистов общеобразовательных школ. Разработку можно использовать для самостоятельной работы обучающихся.

Novocherkassk is the capital of Don`s Cossacks. It is a unique town in his history and architecture. The town is situated in the Rostov region. Novocherkassk is not big, but very beautiful town. The city stands on the Tuslov River. Its green squares and wide avenues were constructed by a Belgian architect Devolan. Cossacks called it “Small Paris” for its wide streets, avenues and squares. Novocherkassk has a great history .The founder of the town was ataman Platov, the hero of the Patriotic war of 1812. Novocherkassk was founded in 1805.

There are a lot of places of interest in Novocherkassk. In the centre of the town there are monuments to Yermak, to Baclanov, to Platov, the Ataman`s Palace and a beautiful Cathedral. The magnificient Cathedral is the third largest cathedral in Russia. Two beautiful Triumphal Arches were built to our victory in the Patriotic War.

Novocherkassk is a town of students. The main building of Polytechnic Institute (now Technical University) was built in 1907. There are several colleges in the town.

Novocherkassk is an industrial town. There are some plants and factories in it. For example, Electro-locomotive Plant, Power Station and many others.

Novocherkassk has its own cultural life. There is a cinema “Cosmos”, the Theatre of Drama by Komissarghevskaya and a lot of museums. Many famous people were born and lived here. These are painters such as Dubovskoy, Krylov and Grekov.
