THE THEME OF THE LESSON:
AIMS OF THE LESSON: 1). Revising and practicing the words linked to
healthy food; getting used the children to talk about their
eating habits;
2). to motivate pupils to study English profoundly and develop love,
respect, good manners toward the Motherland and elders;
METHODS & APPROACHES: Communicative approach, audio visual methods, oral drills,
phonetic drills
VISUAL AIDS: Course book, mp3, speakers, handouts, pictures, phonetic flashcards and
worksheets, videos.
TYPE: Interactive-grammar, speaking, listening, reading, writing, pronunciation

a). Greeting the pupils “Good morning, pupils! How are you today?”
b). Asking a duty questions such as: “What date is it today? What is the weather like today?”
c). Checking up their attendance, filling in the class register;

INTRODUCTION TO THE NEW THEME:
First, the teacher hands out the question cards.

2. How many meals do you eat every day?
3. How often do you eat vegetables and salad?
4. How often do you eat fruits?
5. How often do you drink cola or other soft drinks?
6. How often do you eat sweets?

4. Read and learn the food groups.
-The teacher shows the food that belong to the food groups and elicit their meanings from the pictures.
Let’s go to city rules of health. Close your eyes, put your hands on the desk and count together. One, two, three, listen and see (then come a tooth fairy)
Tooth fairy: let me introduce myself. I’m a toothache. If you don’t clean your teeth and eat a lot of sweets. I come to you.
Teacher: wait, our children know how to handle with you.
On the screen pupils match the pictures with the sentences.

And a tooth fairy goes away.
Now, let’s have a little rest. Stand up, pupils repeat after me

CONCLUSION: a). SUMMARIZING THE NEW THEME:
Summarize with a song “Rainy day”. Pupils listen to a song and while listening, they fill in the blank spaces.
b). Evaluate the pupils and put their marks on diaries and register and dismiss the class.
