Открытый урок по теме «Animals» в 6 классе.

Тип урока: повторение и закрепление полученных знаний с использованием

информационных технологий.

Оснащение урока: УМК, доска, мультимедийное оборудование, карточки.

Цель урока: Активизация лексических навыков по теме «Animals»;

подготовка к монологическому высказыванию по теме «Animals»;

развивать навыки монологической речи по теме «Animals»;

совершенствовать лексические навыки и расширить лексический

запас учащихся.

Задачи урока:

Образовательные: активизировать раннее изученную лексику по теме

«Animals» в устной и письменной речи;

совершенствовать навыки речевой деятельности учащихся;

отработка произносительных навыков.

Развивающие: работа над фонетическими навыками, развитие творческих и

интеллектуальных способностей учащихся;

развитие навыков чтения с поиском запрашиваемой

информации.

Воспитательные: воспитание кругозора учащихся, воспитание чувства любви к

животным;

воспитание ответственности за животных.

Ход урока.

I. Организационный момент.

Teacher: Good morning dear boys and girls!

Pupils: (все вместе) Good morning, Good morning, Good morning to you!

Good morning, dear teacher. We are glad to see you!

Teacher: I am glad to see you, too! Sit down, please. How are you, boys and girls?

Pupils: We are fine, thank you. And you?

Teacher: I’m fine, thanks. Who is on duty today? Who is absent today? What date is

it today? What day of the week is it today? What season is it now?

Teacher: What is the weather like today?

Pupil: It is frosty, cold and windy.

Teacher: Do you like today’s weather?

Pupils: Yes, we do.

Teacher: Why?

Pupil: It is sunny, it isn’t snowy.

IV. Актуализация знаний.

Teacher: Children, look at the screen, please. And answer the question: «What are

we going to speak about? (слайды с животными)

Pupil: We are going to speak about animals.

Teacher: You are right. Do you know the animals well?

Pupils: Yes, we do.

Teacher: Do you like animals?

Pupil: Yes, I do.

Teacher: What animals do you know?

Pupil: I know a lion, a cat, a dog, an elephant, a bear, a tiger, a horse, a wolf, a frog,

a shark, a rhino, a snow leopard, a rattlesnake, a polar bear, a fox, a cow,

a whale, a turtle, a goat, a sheep, a rabbit, a rat.

Teacher: What domestic animals do you know?

Pupil: I know a cow, a horse, a dog, a cat, a duck, a turkey, a hen, a cock, a goat,

a sheep, a rabbit, a goose.

Teacher: What endangered animals do you know?

Pupil: I know an Amur tiger, a polar bear, a rhino, a rattlesnake, a snow leopard,

a shark, an eagle, a wolf, turtle, gorilla, a whale, a wolf, a frog, an owl, panda,

an orangutan, an elephant.

Teacher: What wild animals do you know?

Pupil: I know a wolf, a fox, a lion, a tiger, a bear, an orangutan, an owl, a rat,

monkey.

Teacher: Children, let’s play the game «Who will be the first?»

Teacher: Let`s have a guessing game. Are you ready? Can we start? Please, be very

attentive. (слайд с описанием животного)

Pupil: It is long and green. It can be very terrible and aggressive. It likes to eat meat

and fish. It is very wild. It lives in the water. What is it? (а crocodile)

Teacher: Check your answer on the screen.

Pupil: It is big and brown. It likes to sleep in winter. It has a sweet tooth. It likes to

eat honey, berries, fish and meat. It can swim very well but it lives in the forest.

It can be very aggressive but in the zoo it is very funny and nice. What is it? (а

bear)

Teacher: Check your answer on the screen.

Pupil: I have a very nice tail. I can fly. I` m covered with colourful feathers. I can

talk. I am very funny. I am a … (parrot)

Pupil: It is the biggest animal in the world. It lives in the ocean but it is not a fish.

What is it? (a whale)

Pupil: it is the second biggest animal in the world. It can eat 300 kilos of food and

drink 200 liters of water. It lives in Africa and India. It is kind, clever and very

intelligent. What is it? (an elephant )

Pupil: This animal is very unusual. It can` t walk, it can` t run, it can`t fly, it can only

jump. It has a front pocket and in the pocket it carries a baby. It lives in

Australia. What is it? (a kangaroo)

Teacher: Match the animals with the pictures. Which four animals aren’t in the

pictures?

VII. Совершенствование навыков чтения вслух.

Teacher: Animals live all around us but if you want to see exotic animals you should

go to the zoo. There are many zoos in the world but we`ll speak about

London Zoo today. (с опорой на слайд)

London Zoo

Welcome to London Zoo. You will see a lot of exotic animals here: giraffes and elephants, lions and polar bears, zebras and crocodiles. Also you will meet many baby animals: see the young birds stretch their wings. And watch out when "Junior Jumbo" walks. This little elephant likes to walk. And those funny little monkeys are always full of fun: swinging, jumping, chasing and chattering. We have over 5,000 insects, big and small, walking, jumping, sleeping.

Your visit will be safe, because all animals live in big comfortable cages. Zoo keepers feed animals twice a day. And when it is feeding time at the zoo, look at those sharks diving for their daily catch. They say feeding time is the most interesting in the zoo.

Many scientists work at our zoo. They learn how to treat and breed animals. Trip to our zoo will be greatly interesting for you. But don't bring your pet with you because wild animals can attack it and don't feed animals, because they eat only special food.
