Открытый урок в 9 классе, к УМК М.З. Биболетова Enjoy English

Тема : «We like travelling»

Цель: Активизировать изученный материал на уровне слов словосочетаний и предложений в устной речи.

  1. Оргмомент. Good morning students. I’ glad to see you. I hope you’re fine. Please, look at the slide and say what we are going to speak about? (слайд 1)

  2. Цель (слайд № 2)

  3. Речевая разминка. Please, answer my questions.

  • Do you like travelling?

  • How often do you travel?

  • With whom do you usually travel?

  • Is travelling expensive?

  • Have you ever been to a foreign country?

  • We can travel by different transport. How do you usually travel? (слайд 3)- ученики называют виды транспорта.

  • What transport do you like to travel and why?

  1. Групповая работа: Advantages and disadvantages of transport.

Usually when we travel we use buses, planes, trains. (слайд № 4).

Групповая работа : Read the words in the box. Put each word in the correct category. Some words can be used with all categories:

Airport, baggage, baggage cart, boarding pass, business class, check-in, departure lounge, departure time, deport, destination, driver, fare, flight attendant, passenger, pilot, reservation, runway, seatbelt, stairs, station, suitcase, ticket, tracks, X-ray machine.

  1. Аудирование.

  • TB. p. 72 № 37 (Listen to the dialogue and say where the conversation is taking place (at an airport, at a railway station, in a port?) and say what words helped you know the location).

  • TB. p. 79 № 56. (Listen to the airport announcements and choose the right variant).

2. a) all the passengers flying to Paris are asked to wait as the flight is delayed.

3. a) the plane to Milan has taken off.

4. a) people who have come to the airport to meet passengers from New York should wait as the plane hasn’t arrived yet.

b) people who have come to the airport to meet passengers from New York should go to the arrivals immediately.

6. Работа с текстом. (Преобразовать слова , напечатанные заглавными буквами так, что бы они грамматически и лексически соответствовали содержанию текста). Слайд № 5.

People travel a lot nowadays. Planes are considered to be the most _________COMFORT_________ means of transport but for some people airports can be a nightmare. There are _________END_________ queues when you check in and you waste lots of time if your flight is delayed. However, there are some airports where you can _________ACTUAL_________ enjoy yourself. For example, you’ll never be bored at Hong Kong’s international airport. There are thousands of people from _________DIFFER_________ countries here but the passengers never experience any problems because everything is well organised. There are attendants in red coats, who help you to get from one place to another. It’s very good for people with no sense of _________DIRECT_________. The attendants are always very polite and ________HELP__________. 

7 .When we travel we have conversation at the airports and hotels. (две пары учеников составляют диалоги по плану).

Работа с остальными учениками фронтально. Закончить предложения. (слайды № 6-9)

  1. When you leave your country, you need a passport

2. When you want to change your money to a different currency, you go to a Currency exchange

3. If you want to stay in a hotel, you first have to make reservations

4. To go to a foreign country you need a visa

5. When we arrive we can get our luggage from the baggage reclaim

6. Get to the airport at least two hours before takeoff

7. When the airport official makes sure that everything is all right with your ticket and with your luggage weight, you are given a boarding pass

Прослушивание диалогов.

7. Заключительный этап. What country would you like to visit and why? (слайд № 10).- ответы учеников.

Учитель: It’s cool to travel, to see different countries, but remember East or West home is best (слайд № 11).

ДЗ. Make a report about any country You want, using the plan on p. 93 ex. 92 (слайд № 12)
