Урок по теме «Национальный характер» в 11 классе

Тема урока: National Stereotypes

Цель урока: Совершенствование навыков понимания иноязычной речи на слух.

Сопутствующие задачи: Совершенствования лексических навыков говорения. Развивающие цели: Развитие социокультурной компетенции. Развитие внимания.

Воспитательная цель: Воспитание толерантного отношения к национальному и культурному разнообразию мира.

Оборудование: учебное пособие для 11 класса для гимназий (авторы: Н.В. Демченко и др.), пособие «Учимся слышать и понимать английскую речь» Е.Б. Карневская и др., аудиозапись к пособию (Unit 3, In-Class Listening 1 “What are people like in Great Britain”), карточки с заданиями

What are stereotypes? How are they different from generalizations? Why and how do stereotypes appear?
