Цели: развитие языковой компетенции учащихся через обобщение знаний по теме «Mass-Media»
Задачи: побуждать учащихся к использованию уже известной лексики и информации на английском языке; практиковать учащихся в устной речи по теме; формировать системное представление учащихся о СМИ
Ход урока
I Оргмомент
T: Good morning students! Glad to see you. I’m sure everybody is all right. Let’s make our lesson interesting and useful. The theme of our lesson is «We and Mass-Media». Today we are going to speak about some means of communicating. The mass media actually rule the world and play a very important part in our lives.
T: Let’s learn some new words and train our sounds: VIDEO Look at the screen.
And now tell me what types of mass-media do you know?
P: I know TV, the Internet, newspapers and radio.
T: What types of mass-media do you use in your everyday life?
P: In my everyday life I usually use TV, the Internet, radio and newspapers.
T: What’s your favorite TV show?
P:My favorite TV show is Let us speak.
T: Who is your favorite anchorman, Announcer,Producer?
P:My favourite anchorman is……………

T: So students, I see you know the main media Now look at the screen. What do we know about the Internet.1 - S:The Internet was created in 1983.
T:. The opportunities of the Internet : S:The Internet is an extremely useful tool that has become an important part of our lives in the last few years.
S: We can listening to music
- looking through the news
- watching films or concerts
- communicating with friends
- relaxing
- different social networks
T:.Internet as the most useful and modern mass media
S:- receiving any information
- studying at home
- finding new friends
- travelling around the world without wasting money
- studying foreign languages
T:What do we know about the Radio. When did radio appear?.
.:S: Radio appeared earlier then TV. We can listen to - all kinds of stations: pop or classical music, news, sports, talk shows, politics.
S:But many people prefer the radio. It’s good to listen to in the car, or in the open air, or when you do something about the house.
S: - Radio has not lost its importance with the appearances of TV and the Internet. Today there are a lot of radio stations of many different types and so much variety. Talk shows and music programmes with disc jockeys are very popular.
T:What do we know about the Newspaper.
S:The origin - came from the Italian «gazette» It was typed in the middle of 16th century in Venetia. English people have a tradition to read Newspapers with a cup of tea before breakfast.
T:What kinds of newspapers in Britain do you know?
S: Quality newspapers (known as «heavies») contain a lot of serious articles, e.g. about politics, business, science, cultural news.
S: Popular newspapers (known as «tabloids») carry a lot of big photographs, contain short, simple reports on the main news, stories about famous people.
T:Do you read some magazines?
S: My mother Prefer to read the magazine "Liza". She says that it even helps her in some cases.
T:So, The main source of news for millions of people is television.
S: People like TV news because they can see everything with their own eyes.
S: Many people can’t imagine their lives without TV.
S: They spend most of their time watching serials, films, programmers and never miss it.
T:How do you think ,what is the most popular mass media?
S: I think that radio and television are very popular means of information. They are popular among young people in our country. We can know a lot of news watching TV or listening to the radio set. All members of our family watch TV very regularly.
S: . As for my family, We like such programme as "My family". I prefer to discuss some problems with my parents after it. I have many favourite TV programmes but I haven't enough time to watch all of them.
