Тема: Travelling and transport

Тип урока: Обобщение и систематизация знаний.

Класс: 4

Цель урока:

совершенствование лексико-грамматических и коммуникативных навыков.

Задачи:

1. Образовательная: обобщение и систематизация знаний учащихся о путешествиях и видах транспорта.

2. Развивающая: развитие речевых способностей, психических функций и мыслительных операций, связанных с речевой деятельностью, таких, как способность к догадке, способность логически излагать, обобщать, сравнивать, анализировать, предвосхищать события, воображать.

3. Воспитательная: воспитать положительное толерантное и уважительное отношение к британской культуре, воспитание личностных качеств (трудолюбие, активность, работа в сотрудничестве, умение слушать и оценивать ответы одноклассников).

Оборудование: компьютер, мультимедийный проектор, карточки.

Ход урока:

Организационный момент.

Teacher: Hallo, boys and girls! I am glad to see you! We talked a lot about travelling and transport and today we have an unusual lesson on the topic. Everybody knows the famous game KVN. And today you have a chance to take part in this iteresting game in which you’ll do different tasks on lexic, grammar, reading and speaking on the topic “travelling and transport”.

But before we start let’s look at the screen and read the poem. Repeat this poem after me. Trains.

Over the mountains,

Over the plains,

Over the rivers

Here come trains.

Carrying passengers,

Carrying mail,

Over the country,

Here come trains.

(учащиеся читают стишок хором, затем самостоятельно)

Основная часть:

1. Презентация команд (приветсвие)

There are 2 teams which will take part in our game and one of your home tasks was to choose capitans, to make up the name, the emblem and the moto to your team. Let’s introduce yourself.

1. Разминка.

I’d like to start our first tour (round). It’s a warming up. Guess riddles:

•  It is the fastest way of traveling. You can fly to any part of the world. You cannot see  much from the window. Everything is too small (plane)

-·    This way of travelling is fast. It is comfortable. You can see a lot of interesting

things from the window. You can make long journeys by it (train)

·        A lot of people prefer this way of traveling. People can go as slowly or as fast as they like. They can stop when and where they want. People don’t worry about tickets and timetables (car)

·        Some people like this way of traveling. It is very pleasant in summer. People can enjoy the sea, fresh sea air and seagulls. But others don’t like it at all. They feel sea sick (ship)

• Guess the sound of the trasport.

- Now it’s a competition for our capitans. You have to act a dialoge between a passenger and the cashier at the airport. (вытягивают свои роли, разыгрывают)

- One more task for you capitans. You have to drow the emblem of your team with closed eyes. (рисуют эмблему команды закрытыми глазами)

8. Ответы на вопросы участниками команд.

How do people travel now?

Where do people usually buy tickets?

What transport do you prefer to travel by ?Why?

What kind of transport do people use in Moscow?

What places of interest do tourists usually visit? (вытягивают вопрос и отвечают)
