Практическое занятие № 40

1. Тема: «Harmful Habits. Вредные привычки. Present Perfect Tense»

Цель: Выработать и закрепить навык употребления изученного грамматического материала. Выработать навык устной речи по изучаемой теме (составление диалогические высказывания по теме).Ознакомление учащихся с принципами здорового образа жизни.

Оборудование: 1. Учебники; 2. Раздаточный материал.

Основные теоретические положения

1. Present Perfect - настоящее совершенное время

Время Present Perfect обозначает действие, которое завершилось к настоящему моменту или завершено в период настоящего времени. Хотя английские глаголы в Present Perfect обычно переводятся на русский язык в прошедшем времени, следует помнить, что в английском языке эти действия воспринимаются в настоящем времени, так как привязаны к настоящему результатом этого действия.

I have done my homework already.

Я уже сделал домашнее задание.

We have no classes today, our teacher has fallen ill.

У нас сегодня не будет уроков, наш учитель заболел.

2. Образование Present Perfect

Время Present Perfect образуется при помощи вспомогательного глагола to have в настоящем времени и причастия прошедшего времени значимого глагола, то есть его «третьей формы».

To have в настоящем времени имеет две формы:

• has – 3 лицо, ед. ч. (He has played)

• have – 1 и 2 лицо ед.ч. и все формы мн. ч. (I have played)

Примечание:

Личные местоимения и вспомогательный глагол часто сокращаются до he’s, they’ve и т. п.
В зависимости от использованного в предложении времени сокращения типа he’s могут расшифровываться и как he is, и как he has.

Причастие второе, или причастие прошедшего времени (Participle II), можно получить, прибавив к начальной форме значимого глагола окончание -ed:

examine – examined, enjoy – enjoyed, close – closed

Однако есть также достаточно большая группа неправильных английских глаголов, которые образуют форму прошедшего времени не по общим правилам. Для них форму причастия прошедшего времени нужно запомнить.

В вопросительном предложении вспомогательный глагол выносится на место перед подлежащим, а значимый глагол остается после него:

Have you seen this film?
Ты смотрел этот фильм?
Has she come yet?
Она еще не пришла?

В отрицательных предложениях за вспомогательным глаголом следует отрицательная частица not. Формы have и has при этом могут быть сокращены до haven’t и hasn’t соответственно:

I haven’t seen him since then.
С тех пор я его так и не видел.

1. Случаи употребления Present Perfect:

• Если говорящему важен сам факт произошедшего действия, а не его время или обстоятельства:

I have visited the Louvre 3 times.
Я посетил Лувр три раза.

Если время события имеет значение, то нужно использовать время Past Simple:

I visited the Louvre last year.
Я посетил Лувр в прошлом году.

• Если период, в который произошло действие, еще не закончился:

I have finished reading “Dracula” this week.
На этой неделе я закончил читать «Дракулу».

В противном случае используется время Past Simple:

I finished reading “Dracula” 2 weeks ago.
Я закончил читать «Дракулу» две недели назад.

• Для обозначения действий, которые начались в прошлом и продолжаются в момент разговора:

I’ve studied Spanish since childhood.
Я учил испанский с детства.
I haven’t seen my hometown for 45 years.
Я не видел свой родной город 45 лет.

Задание 1 . Прочитайте и переведите текст «Harmful Habits» (25 минут):

People nowadays want to be healthy and happy. All of them know that for it they should avoid different bad habits that can affect their health. But they do on the contrary.

Firstly let's say about a smoking. It is very fashionable in our days. Even students and pupils smoke. So it is our problem in our world. Smoking is the best way to bad health. Today half the men and a quarter of the women in the world smoke on the average. Some people think that there is not much sense in refraining from smoking, since the inhabitants of many cities and even villages breathe air contaminated with industrial and automobile wastes. They are very wrong. Vehicle exhaust gases are harmful in themselves, but a smoking driver is subjected to something far more dangerous. The harm of tobacco smoke on women should be especially emphasized. In particular, smoking may affect the course of pregnancy. Smoking women may bring into the world crippled or abnormal children.

The health of a person is the main value in the life. It cannot be bought with any money. There is no price for it. Being the sick person, you cannot realize all your dreams and be successful in the modern world. Don`t begin! Don`t make the first cigar inhalation, the first sip of alcohol! Everything begins so simply, but comes to the end with a trouble.

In addition to smoking, we can name the other fatal habit: the drinking of alcohol. Unfortunately, very often they combine with each other. Alcohol is too fashionable problem in our days. From the street we see people which drink alcohol and sleeping on the street. Alcohol is a poison! Having penetrated into an organism, it has destroyed the brain of the person for some months. A great man said that drinking alcohol is a voluntary mad, and I think he was right. Under the influence of alcohol the person can make absolutely rash actions. The matter is that alcohol is the drug, and drugs influence on the brains of the person. Especially alcohol is very dangerous for the young because their organism is exposed to the influence of harmful substances more easily. Even a single sip of alcohol causes a poisoning which can lead to death. They ruin all human organs, so the drug addicts die young. Few of them live longer than several years after they have started taking drugs.

In conclusion, I would say that every person will choose for themselves if they want to be healthy they shouldn't with these habits. They are free deciding. To my mind, only healthy people should live on our planet and then our Earth will be brighter and more beautiful, because only the healthy persons will provide its further development and prosperity.

Задание 4. В письме есть 4 ошибки на использование  for и since.  Найдите и исправьте их. These are some sentences from Nigel’s letter home from Africa. He has made four mistakes in using ‘for’ and ‘since’. Correct his mistakes (15 минут).

Dear Mum and Dad,

I've lived in Africa since two weeks and I love it! Africa is beautiful! I haven’t travelled to any faraway place for last summer. I’m so happy now!

I’ve already seen Mr. Rambler. He is working for WWF here and taking photos of wild animals. I haven’t seen any lions yet. I think I’ll see them later.

Thank you for the trip. I’ve dreamed of Kenya for my childhood. I haven’t seen you since ages! I miss you so much!

Оценка «5» - Поставленные задачи (чтение, перевод текста, грамматические упражнения, ответы на вопросы) решены полностью, применение лексики адекватно коммуникативной задаче, грамматические ошибки либо отсутствуют, либо не препятствуют решению коммуникативной задачи

Оценка «4» - Коммуникативная задача решена полностью, но понимание текста незначительно затруднено наличием грамматических и/или лексических ошибок.

Оценка «3» - Коммуникативная задача решена, но понимание текста затруднено наличием грубых грамматических ошибок или неадекватным употреблением лексики.

Оценка «2» - Коммуникативная задача не решена ввиду большого количества лексико-грамматических ошибок или недостаточного объема текста.
