«Happy Mother’s Day»
Цели:
Мотивировать обучающихся к изучению английского языка.
Формировать актерские навыки при исполнении стихов, пьес, песен на английском языке.
Активизировать у учащихся творческие способности.
Задачи:
Научить учащихся правильному употреблению речевых образцов в стихах и пьесах.
Развивать умения монологической и диалогической речи, умение импровизировать; развивать память и логическое мышление.
Создать благоприятный эмоционально-психологический климат обучения, атмосферу благожелательности. Воспитать в детях положительный образ матери, женщины.
Ход мероприятия
Ведущий 1: Good morning, dear guests! Dear teachers! Dear mothers!
Ведущий 2: Good morning, dear grandmothers! Dear women and girls! We are very glad to see you.
Ведущий 1: Beauty, woman, flowers, Mother! There are not so many days in the year when we pronounce these pleasant words!
Ведущий 2: When is Mother’s Day?
Ведущий 1: Mother’s Day is celebrated by Americans on the second Sunday in May.
Ведущий 2: Mothering Sunday in the UK is celebrated in March.
Ведущий 1: The Russians do it in November.
Ведущий 2: Grownup people visit their mothers to give them some flowers or other presents.
Ведущий 1: If they can`t do that, they send their mothers a “Mother`s Day Card”.
Ведущий 2: Little children give their mothers presents made by their own hands or tell rhymes.

Ведущий 1: In Russia Mother’s Day was introduced not so long ago. For the first time it was celebrated in Baku in 1988.
Ведущий 2: But it only happened in 1998 when Mother’s Day was officially established by the decree of President Boris Yeltsin.
Ведущий 1: Since that time Mother’s Day has been celebrated on the last Sunday in November. Ведущий 2: Mother’s Day is an international holiday. It is celebrated not only in Great Britain, the USA and Russia but also in Australia, Germany, Italy, Poland and many other countries.
Ведущий 1: Husbands and children try to show their love.
Ведущий 2: And now, you have an excellent chance to plunge into the atmosphere of love.

Pupil: Help your mother!
Help your mother lay the table,
Put a knife and fork and spoon;

Morning, night and noon.
На сцене, которая оформлена под квартиру, делает уборку девочка в фартуке. Она подмела пол, помыла посуду, вытерла пыль…Затем, тяжело вздыхая от усталости, садится на стул. Все это время ее брат сидел и ничего не делал, а только играл на компьютере. Вдруг звонок в дверь. Это пришла мама с работы. Девочка бежит открывать дверь:
Daughter: Mummy, I’m glad to see you! How are you? Are you tired?
Mother: Hello, my dear! Yes, I’m tired.
Daughter: Give me your bag, mummy. Take off your coat. Here are your slippers.
Mother: Thank you, dear! (удивленно) What a clean flat we’ve got today!
Daughter: Sit here. I’ll bring you tea with honey.
Mother: Thank you, my daughter! (еще более удивленно)
Мама выпила чай и спрашивает:
Mother: And where’s your brother?
Daughter: He’s playing computer games in his room.
Они идут в его комнату. Мама говорит:
Mother: You’re doing nothing again! Look at your sister! She’s cleaned all the flat today! And you?!
Son: But it’s not me who’s got a two today!
Мальчик показывает дневник своей сестры, в котором красуется жирная двойка. Мама открыла рот от удивления, а девочка, схватив голову двумя руками, побежала вон из комнаты.
Mother: Children, I hope that you help your mother not only when you’ve got bad marks at school!
Ведущий 1: The symbols of this day also differ from country to country.
Ведущий 2: Forget-me-not is the symbol of Mother’s Day in Russia.
Ведущий 1: Mother’s Day is the day when all mothers are given flowers, sweets, chocolates and look like a Queen.
Ведущий 2: Different events dedicated to Mother’s Day are held across the country.

Children: Dear mothers! We wish you: happiness, gladness, kindness, good health, love, warm sun rays, good children, loving husbands, beauty and many FLOWERS!

Цели:
