Тема урока: Holidays. (Праздники.)/ Spotlight 6, Module 5.
Цель урока: развитие речевой и учебно-познавательной компетентности учащихся.
Задачи:
Обучающие (достижение предметных результатов):
- освоить во всех видах речевой деятельности изученные лексические единицы по теме «Праздники»;
-обобщить знания и научить говорить о праздниках, уметь строить диалог
- повторить грамматическое время Present Continuous в различных контекстах употребления;
Развивающие (достижение метапредметных результатов обучения):
-развитие диалогических навыков, использование языковых средств в соответствии с коммуникативной задачей.
Воспитательные (достижения личностных результатов):
воспитывать уважение к традициям обычаям как части культуры разных стран мира;
Предметные умения
-умение правильно понимать значение лексических единиц (ЛЕ) по теме.
-умение использовать ЛЕ в заданной ситуации.
-умение строить краткие высказывания с использованием опор.
-умение составлять диалоги по теме.

-формирование коммуникативной компетентности в общении и сотрудничестве со сверстниками.

T: T: Good morning boys and girls!
Cl: Good morning!
T: Sit down, please. I am glad to see you. I hope you are ready for our lesson. You are good in a good mood, aren’t you?
Cl: Yes, we are.
T: Let’s start our lesson. Boys and girls ask each other the questions about date, weather, and season as usually.

P: It is December.

December is the 12th month of the year. It opens winter. The sky is dark. It often snows. The days are very short. You can see snow everywhere. The rivers and lakes freeze. We can go skating and skiing. At the end of December the New Year comes.
T: OK! Thank you. Now we will see a presentation. Say what is it about?
P: Holidays.
T: How do you think what theme of our lesson is?
P: Holidays.
T: Yes. You are right. Today we are going to read the text, do some exercise, speak about holidays in our country and in Great Britain.

T: Thank you. Who wants to tell us about New Year’s Day?
P: May I do?
T: Do, please.
I like New Year's Day. It is my favourite holiday. Our family prepares for this holiday beforehand. My father brings home a beautiful New Year's tree at the end of December. It is our family tradition to decorate it with toys, little colored lights, sweets and a beautiful star on the top. Mother and grandmother prepare our New Year's supper and lay the table. I make a cake.
All the members of our family clean the flat before this nice holiday. We like to see the New Year in at home. At 12 o'clock we are sitting at the table and we are glad to see the New Year in. We say, "Best wishes for the New Year!" New Year's Day is always connected with our new hopes and dreams. It is pleasant to get presents on New Year's Eve.

( учащиеся рассказывают правило о настоящем продолженном времени, три ученика идут к доске и каждый пишет по предложению, остальные учащиеся работают в тетрадях, затем предложения проверяются. Предложения с 4-10 учащиеся выполняют дома)
