Let’s review our words Porridge, bread, butter, soup, carrot, cabbage, garlic, apple, potato, sugar, sweets, pies, biscuits, buns, cakes, yoghurt, eggs, fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, pizza, sandwich, cornflakes, juice, mineral water.
You should eat a variety of foods to stay healthy.
What are these foods?
- You eat it hot, usually for breakfast. They say it is good for you.
- You it them cold, often with milk or yoghurt. Sometimes they are sweet and sometimes they are not.
- You put it on your sandwich. Its colour is light yellow. You have it for breakfast.
- It is very sweet and usually white in colour
People often put it in their tea and coffee.
- It is white in colour and has a lot of fat. You can drink it or add to your tea, coffee.
People have meals three or four times a day:
- Breakfast – we have it in the morning before school
- Lunch – we have it during the long break at school
- Dinner – we have it in the afternoon after the lessons
- Supper – we have it in the evening at home
For breakfast we can have:
