Ernest Rutherford
Ernest Rutherford - one of the founders of the teaching about radioactivity and the structure of the atom, the founder of scientific school. He opened (1899) alpha-rays, beta-rays and established their nature. He also created the Theory of Radioactivity. In 1911 he proposed planetary model of the atom. Carried out the first artificial nuclear reaction. He had Nobel prize.
Colin Murdoch
Colin Murdoch invented many useful things, but he was not widely known. Thanks to this new Zealander we have disposable syringe, not-openning baby cap, a tranquilizer gun, alarm areas and more. During his life, Colin Murdock managed to patent 46 inventions.
Brus Maklaren
New Zealand racing driver and founder of McLaren racing team, who became a living legend in Formula 1.
McLaren’s father was the owner of the garage in Auckland. At the same time he was a successful motorcycle racer. As a child, Bruce suffered from a serious illness, every movement caused him pain.
