“ Seasons and weather”

My kite is white.

My kite is light.   And it can fly       High in the sky.    

THERE ARE FOUR SEASONS IN A YEAR :

Spring is green.

Summer is bright.

Autumn is yellow.

Winter is white.

Синтетический способ.

• при помощи суффиксов –er и -est.

new – newer – newest

Супплетивный способ (исключения)

• good – better – best bad – worse – worst little – less – least many – more – most far – farther/further – farthest /furthest old – older/elder – oldest/eldest

Аналитический способ используется для многосложных слов. Для этого перед прилагательным ставятся слова more/most (более/наиболее), less/least (менее/наименее):

• effective – more effective – most effective

Seasons on the Earth

There are four seasons in a year: spring, summer, autumn and winter. In spring days are longer and nights are shorter in winter. There are green leaves on the trees, grass and than spring. It's warm, but it rains.

Summer is the hottest season in the year. Days are the longest and nights are the shortest. There are a lot of beautiful flowers. Boys and girls like to swim and play near the water in summer.

In autumn there's a lot of fruit and vegetables. Nature is very beautiful in autumn. Leaves on the trees are red, orange, brown and yellow. It's colder than in summer and it rains. Winter is the coldest season in the year. Days are the shortest and nights are the longest in winter. It snows' and trees and houses are white.
