Музыкальные национальные инструменты как семейные реликвии армянской семьи

Heirlooms

We live in the 21st century. This is the age of computers, speeds, advanced technologies. At the same time we should not forget that there are such things, which tell us about the past, have a great value for our families. These items – are our heirlooms. Until recently, I didn't know exactly what that term means. But when I heard from relatives that we have family heirlooms, I decided to find out what it is and why certain items are considered to be our family relics. And I wonder if modern people know much about their family values, about heirlooms? Are they interested in information about long-past events? Attempts to find answers to these questions led me to the necessity of the implementation of the research work. Using dictionaries, reference books, I learned that heirloom - any furniture movable or personal chattel which by law or special custom descends to the heir along with the inheritance any piece of personal property that has been in a family for several generations.

 Any object may be a relic: icons, coins, books. Any relic –is a part of the history. It seems to me that every man sooner or later owns such a thing. I think that it is usually associated with someone or something very important and significant in the life of man. My family call ancient national musical instruments stored my great grandfather's

our family’s relics, our heirlooms.
