Problems of the Preparations to English Lesson

To be a good teacher means to be a highly educated person and to know a lot. Every day I improve my English attending English causes into the Institute in the town of Nalchik, reading books, reading English newspapers, looking through magazines and sometimes speaking with my colleges.

I^’m sure; nowadays it is necessary to know foreign language. And I wanted the pupils to like English. I^’m glad teaching the pupils. It is very interesting but very difficult work because you work with the pupils, with the personalities. It is difficult because you have to teach them a foreign language.

The teacher of English should have been ready to pass a good lesson. It is necessary to have a plan of a lesson. But there are a lot of problems. A skilled teacher must to be able not only to read and write English well but know another subject well, sang songs, dance, draw, work at the computer, etc. so a teacher has to know how to teach, how to make difficult things understandable, how to get students interested in knowledge of English.

One of the problems is that there are a lot of books now and a teacher has to choose the best for teaching. But there is not an ideal book and the teacher has to bay many different books to find an interesting material for the lesson or he must use the internet. All this work takes a lot of time. It is not easy and it takes so much patients and effort.

Next problem is absence of the computer at home and into the classroom at school. There is not a TV, DVD player, cassette recorder, multy media projector into the classroom. But we all need them very much.

The lesson of English is different from another lesson because at English lesson we must study not only grammar rules but we must read and discuss the texts, describe the pictures, sing songs, write exercises, play, dance and read the poems, work at the computer.

It^’s a pity but we have English lesson only two or three times a week- it^’s a great problem if we want to teach students to know English well and to pass English exam well.

As usual the teacher’s didn’t have enough time after school to prepare more presentations for the lessons, to write the fool plans for the lessons and to catch making all home affairs and to dedicate herself to their children and their husband.

And one else- we didn^’t have time to prepare children for the exam at the lesson because according our program of English there is no possibility to repeat some topics, to write some essays, to study grammar rules as good as it necessary.

There is a great problem- the children won^’t make her home task well, usually they do not listen to the teacher with attention, that^’s why the teacher has to think how to get students interested in studying English, how to make their lesson more effective, they use different forms and methods of work. They use different types of lessons: traditional and untraditional lessons. And of cause a teacher ought to have perfect knowledge of his subject.

But we all love our subject and our children and we are ready to teach them with great enthusiasm, patience and love.
