Nina’s Holiday

Hi! My name is Nina. I can say that my summer holidays were wonderful. I went to some places in Russia and travelled abroad. I’d like to tell you about Sochi.

We went to Sochi all together-my parents, my sister and I. We travelled from Moscow by plane, You see, my mum doesn’t like trains and my dad hates to drive.

A lot of people come to Sochi for their holidays. The place is very green and beautiful. It has comfortable hotels. Some of them are old and some are new. Our hotel was one of the best. It was new and modern, but it wasn’t very big. The hotel was near the sea and we enjoyed swimming every day. The weather was hot and sunny and the water in the Black Sea was warm in July.

We had dinner in the hotel. After dinner we liked to read books or play games. Then we walked in the city or went to the sea again. In the evenings we watched films and talked.

We had a very good time in Sochi. I’d like to go there again. My dad says that the best time to visit Sochi is in early autumn. I’d like to go there in September. I know that I can’t do it now: my sister and I are pupils and we go to school in September.
