1: - Good morning. Can I help you sir?
2: - Yes, please. I'm looking for a book but I can't remember the title.
1: - Well, do you remember the writer?
2: - No, but it's about Botswana.
1: - Ah! It must be 'The Number 1 Ladies' Detective Agency'.
2: - No, I've read that one. It's the second one I'm looking for.
1: - The second one is 'Tears of the Giraffe'.
2: - That's the one I'm looking for. Do you have it in stock?
1: - I'll just look. Yes, here we are. ' Tears of the Giraffe' by Alexander McCall-Smith.
2: - Oh, that's good! How much is it?
1: - 6.99, please.
2: - Thank you. Here you are.
What is a book?
A book is pages, pictures and words
A book is animals, people and birds
A book is stories of queens and kings
Poems and songs – so many things
Curled in a corner where I can hide
With a book I can journey far and wide
Though it’s only paper from end to end
A book is a very special friend.

Hi! My name is Swa. Welcome to our UNSW bookshop staff picks. I’ve got three books that I think you should have.
First of which is be complete works of Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes. I have been a fan of him since I was a kid. And I have got all the individual books but for the first time it’s in a leather bound all collections together. One book, which I think, should be on your shelf. The reason I like Sherlock Holmes is he is what I wanted to be as a child – a prodigy who observes and figures out mysteries and solve murders. Something that every child or teenager would love to have.
So, if you haven’t already read it, I recommend it highly for you. If you already a fanatic, that is something, you shouldn’t do without.
