Организация и проведение Олимпиады является одним из направлений работы преподавателей английского языка в колледже. Задания Олимпиады состоят из лексико-грамматического теста и аудирования. В разработку включены Положения о проведении Олимпиады и ключи к заданиям.

Введение

Организация и проведение Олимпиады по английскому языку является одним из направлений работы преподавателей английского языка в нашем колледже. Олимпиада проводится ежегодно в рамках Недели общеобразовательных дисциплин. Опыт проведения олимпиад показывает неослабевающий интерес студентов к таким мероприятиям, в которых они могут раскрыть свои знания, показать эрудицию и смекалку.

Задания по Олимпиаде состоят из лексико-грамматического теста, аудирования и творческого задания, что позволяет объективно и в полной мере оценить знания и уровень практического владения английским языком студентов и определить лучших.

В разработку включены положение о проведении олимпиады, задания, ключи к заданиям, анализ итогов.








































Положение о проведении Олимпиады в колледже

I. Общие положения.

1. Настоящее Положение определяет порядок организации и проведения Олимпиады по английскому языку внутри колледжа.

2. Основными целями и задачами Олимпиады являются:

  • Повышение мотивации студентов к изучению английского языка.

  • Активизация интереса к изучению английского языка и расширение кругозора студентов.  

  • Предоставление возможностей для интеллектуального самовыражения, развитие речевых навыков  на английском языке.

  • Выявление талантливых, способных и наиболее подготовленных студентов.




3. В Олимпиаде принимают участие на добровольной основе студенты 1-3 курсов

4. Ход проведения Олимпиады:

Приветственное слово организаторов Олимпиады участникам и

первый тур – 17 февраля 2014 в 15-40 ауд.308-307, лексико-грамматический тест «I know English”

второй тур – 18 февраля 2014 в 15-40 ауд.308-307, аудирование и выполнение заданий по прослушанному тексту

третий тур – 19 февраля 2014 года в 15-40 ауд. 308-307, творческий конкурс «Poetic Fantasy”

5. Организаторами Олимпиады являются преподаватели английского языка, которые разрабатывают задания для всех трех туров, готовят раздаточный материал и оценочные листы для участников Олимпиады.

6. Победители и призеры всех этапов Олимпиады определяются на основании результатов участников соответствующих туров Олимпиады, которые заносятся в итоговую таблицу результатов участников соответствующих туров Олимпиады, представляющую собой ранжированный список участников, расположенных по мере убывания набранных ими баллов (далее - итоговая таблица). Участники с равным количеством баллов располагаются в алфавитном порядке.

7. Проверку выполненных олимпиадных заданий Олимпиады осуществляют жюри.

Состав жюри формируется из преподавателей английского языка и представителей комиссии общеобразовательных дисциплин.


8. Жюри Олимпиады:

  1. разрабатывает критерии оценивания заданий и оценивает выполненные олимпиадные задания;

  2. проводит анализ выполненных олимпиадных заданий;

  3. определяет победителей и призеров соответствующего этапа Олимпиады;

Task 1. For questions 11-20 read the text “The Ring and the fish” and decide whether the

information in the sentences is right (A), wrong (B) or not stated (C) in this text. Circle the

Victor and Anita, who live in Italy, are the happiest couple in the world. Two years ago,

they were on a boat a few kilometres from the beach. Victor asked Anita to marry him and he

gave her a nice gold ring. He wanted to put the ring on Anita’s finger, but he dropped it and it

fell into the sea. They were sure the ring was lost for ever.

That is, until last Friday, when Mr Morrison visited them. He has a fish shop and he

found the ring in a large fish which he was cutting up for one of his customers. The fish thought

the ring was something to eat! Mr Morrison knew that the ring belonged to Victor and Anita

because inside the ring there were some words. They were, ‘To Anita, All my love, Victor.’ And

so Mr Morrison gave the ring back to them.

Anita now has two rings. When they lost the first one, Victor bought Anita another one.

But they think the one the fish ate is the best one.
