Reading in my life

Jerry: I am really fond of reading. Reading books makes me happy. I read every day and everywhere. I can say that I am a bookworm. Fantasy books give me goosebumps. They tell us about imaginary characters and events. Fantasy books are full of unexpected twists. Reading a fantasy book is like living in another very interesting and exciting world.

Anna: I am not keen on reading but I know that reading is important. Reading develops our memory, speaking skills and enriches our vocabulary. Reading books is a good way to have a rest too. When I am tired and feel sad, I take my favourite book «Adventures of Sherlock Holmes». This book makes me forget about everything.

Harry: I am interested in reading. I prefer fiction books. They are amusing and adventurous. Such books make me dream and forget about my problems. They teach me to solve problems and understand other people. I am fond of reading poems too and it is easy for me to learn poems by heart.

Helen: I am really into reading. I enjoy reading encyclopaedias. When I read an encyclopaedia I learn a lot of new things about our world. These books are educational and contain a lot of useful information. I can’t stand reading novels. In my opinion they are boring and stupid.

John: I don’t mind reading. I love reading about adventures. I forget about my problems and relax. Right now I am reading an exciting book of Mark Twain «The adventures of Tom Sawyer». This book has an exciting plot.
