I love learning English If you are too lucky and live here forever,
I can read, I can write, In a hundred years we won’t be upset ever.
I can speak English too. We will be older, stronger, happier
I love learning English. And wiser than we are today.
And what about you? We’ll travel on mysterious planets
And walk on the Moon. O’Key!
English is wonderful, We should learn hard,
English is great. We should speak it well
We can travel to England To make many friends
By plane or by train. And to write e-mail.
WISHES
I want to study in Oxford So let us, children, study
And visit British Isles, To make our wishes true
To start my learning English, We all are strong and happy
To read, to write and to be bright. And gay as well as you.
LITTLE JACK FROST NEW YEAR
It is cold and still, the wind is away, I am the little New Year, ho, ho!
And little Jack Frost is busy today. Here I come jumping over the snow
He holds my cheeks, he nips my nose, Shaking my bells with a merry din.
And before I can catch him away he goes. So open your doors and let me in!
Jack Frost, Jack Frost, you guess little elf,
Where do you go when you hide yourself?
FROSTY WINDOWS
When windows are frosty Or flowers, or houses,
And icy in places, Or maybe a cat –
I like to write letters, I really wish windows
And draw fanny faces, Were always like that.
If you, Sandy, have two candies, One, two, three - turn around.
Give one candy to Andy, Sandy. One, two, three - touch the ground.
If you, Andy, have two candies, Four five six - jump up high
Give one to Sandy, Andy. Four, five, six - reach for the sky.
- Where are you going to, my little cat? Twinkle, twinkle little star
- I’m going to town to buy a hat. How I wander what you are!
- What? A hat for a cat? A cat in a hat? Up above the world so high
Who ever saw a cat in a hat? Like a diamond in the sky.
Whether the weather be fine, Down, down, down,
Or whether the weather are not, Red, yellow, brown
Whether the weather be cold, Autumn leaves tumble down,
Or whether the weather be hot, Autumn leaves crumble down,
We weather the weather Autumn leaves bumble down,
Whatever we like it or not. Tumble down leaves.
There was a student named Bessor, The more we study, the more we know,
Whose knowledge grew less and less, The more we know, the more we forget,
It at last grew so small, The more we forget, the less we know,
He knew nothing at all. The less we know, the less we forget,
And today he is a college professor. The less we forget, the more we know.
Why study?
The little boy who says “I’ll try”, I say to the snake
Will climb to the hill-top, “Let’s play with me!”
The little boy who says “I can’t”, “Oh, no!” says the snake.
Will at the bottom stop. “Oh, no!” says he.
“I’ll try” does great things every day, “Here is my toothbrush
“I can’t gets nothing done, And here is my cup so new.
Be sure then that you say “I’ll try!” I must clean my teeth
And let “I can’t alone. I can’t play with you”.
If a task is once begun Tick-tock, tick-tock,
Never leave it till it’s done; This is Big Ben. Big Ben is a clock.
Be the labour great or small, Day and Night with all its might
Do it well or not at all. Big Ben, the clock, says: Tick-tock.
Rain, rain, go away Little cat, little cat, where is your flat?
Come again another day, I’m a poor cat. I haven’t got a flat.
Little children want to play. Little cat, little cat, come into my flat.
Early to bed, early to rise Wash your hands before you eat
Makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise. Keep yourself both clean and neat.
A chant - I want to be a pilot / singer, driver…/
All: A pilot, a pilot.
- I want to be a pilot.
All: Why not, why not, why not.
