Siberia is the nature of the Planet,
Siberia is always beautiful!
Your deep rivers are
Wealth of Earth!
The most important and the most beautiful place for humans is a birth-place. There are plenty of people who believe that our motherland is a sense of inspiration, pride and joy! Boundless expanses of plains, endless forests, silence and privacy of the Siberian remote places - all this is "My Motherland, my Kuzbass"! Lenins-Kuznetsky is the symbol that I put into this concept. What is a personification of my motherland? Some people assume that it is a flag, the others think about architectural and historical monuments, another people imagine the beauty of nature and cultural heritage.
I personally favour that coal, which reserves are estimated in millions of tons, symbolizes the main wealth of the city. Coal is a symbol of warmth and life for many citizens of our region. So, a major benefit that the coat of arms is the primary symbol. It is a reflection of the natural and economic characteristics of Leninsk-Kuznetsky. The hammer and the pick-axe on our coat of arms symbolize the prosperity of mechanical engineering, metalworking, chemical production.
Its color range is also rich. The blue stripes symbolize the Inya River. It is the main river of our city. Yellow is a symbol of stability, wealth and respect. The white color matches up with peace and loyalty. The strongest color on our coat of arms is red, which means courage and strength. The beauty of nature, health and youth are marked with green. Black is a symbol of wisdom and blue is a symbol of honor.
The anthem of the city of miners was written by N.I. Popov to the beautiful melody of I.V. Drugov. The words of the anthem is a slogan in order to combine forces between youth and older generation in prosperity of our region. It goes without saying that the hymn is a common symbol of the personification of the city of all generations!
The embodiment of history and the reflection of the present have become the architectural and historical monuments and buildings of the city.
In 2000, the Chapel was built in memory of the dead miners. The modest monument to the victims of political repression was erected on the Memory Square. We remember the fighters for the power of the Soviets. Every first Saturday of April the townspeople come to the monuments to bow the memory of their fellow countrymen who died in April 1919. To my mind, the gun which was presented to our citizens by marshal of artillery G. Peredelsky, the most vivid and memorable symbol of our motherland.
We know our coat of arms, flag, we sing the anthem of our native land. We honor and respect our ancestors, the miners of the Siberian land. That is all our property and proud!
To conclude, I am convinced that as long as you are ready to die for humanity, the life of your country is immortal!
