Урок — презентация проектов по теме “Man-made wonders of the world”, 10 класс (учебник «Enjoy English» под редакцией Биболетовой М.З.)
Тип урока: систематизация и обобщение учебного материала.
Цель: выработка умений самостоятельно применять знания в стандартных и нестандартных ситуациях.
Задачи:
Создать условия для совершенствования языковой и коммуникативной компетенций учащихся через развитие умений самостоятельно подбирать и систематизировать материал на заданную тему, используя современные информационно-коммуникационные технологиии, что способствует формированию творческой личности и приобщению школьников к культурному наследию народов мира.
Оборудование урока: компьютер, медиапроектор, карточки с оценочными таблицами.
Ход урока
1. Warming up:
Teacher: Good morning, dear teachers! I am glad to see you! Hello, friends! Please take your seats. How are you today?
Pupils: We’re fine, thanks. And you?
Teacher: I am fine too. Thank you.
Has anything wonderful happened with you these days?
Have you seen any wonders recently?
Let’s start our lesson! The theme of our lesson is “Man-made wonders of the world”, we are going to learn some new information about the well-known wonders in the world,
Let us remember what man- made wonders are known all over the world. Please, divide into 2 groups. Match the pictures on the screen and the names of the places. (слайд№ 1)(9 сек) The recording will help you
Now, boys and girls check your results Who wants to read the answers? And now look at the results on the screen.(слайд№2).Well done,boys and girls!
What can be done to save them for people? You are future creators and scientists, soon this world will belong to you and you have to decide, what to do. Our world is full of mysteries and mysterious places.
Pupils: называют чудеса света, представленные в слайд-шоу, предположительное место нахождения каждого из них, отвечают на вопросы учителя.
Teacher: (This is a very strange place.) What for sights are these?
Where are they situated?
Which of them do you like most?
Which of them would you visit today?
2. General part:
Teacher: People created a lot of wonderful buildings and monuments later. They are worth of admiration and our next point of view is your projects. You worked several lessons on them and it’s high time to present them to us. But we should not only see and discuss your presentations but we should give assessments them. You have such papers on your tables. Take them and look through. You can see criterias here. (см. Приложение 1) Max 5 points. Fill in these tables during our presentation, please. At the end of the lesson you’ll give me these papers and next lesson we’ll discuss your opinions. Let us start. Who wants to be the first?

Pupils: Заполняют оценочную таблицу.
3. Rounding - off
Teacher: We saw magnificent buildings, places, parks. They are fantastic! Do you agree with me? Is it important to look after these places?( protecting them from vandals, pollution and weather). There is a need for constant renovation as the biggest problem for old places is the time. We must save our past for our future so that future generation will be able to see all the wonders of the world. I think we can do it all together.
Well. I thank all the participants for taking part in this lesson. You were very nice, clever and cheerful. Of course, you will get excellent marks. At home you should learn words on page 124 by heart. Our lesson is over. Just a moment, dear teachers, as you know, the Women,s DAY is coming. That’s why we have a present for you!
