“Sherlock Holmes and Dr.Watson”
(5 класс)
Participants: 5 учеников, которые рассказывают стихи, девочки –снежинки (танец снежинок 4-5 чел), рассказчик, семья (мама, папа, дочь,сын), 3 ведьмы, чернвй кот, Шерлок Холмс, Доктор Ватсон, Миссис Смит, Мистер Грин. Санта.
Сценарий
1 ученик: Let’s meet Christmas! It’s Christmas? Merry Christmas!
Yes? It’s Merry, merry Christmas? It’s time for hanging stockings.
It’s time for riding sleighs.
It’s time for jolly greetings, snow and holly overeating.
Oh, I love you Merry Christmas, you are the best of holidays.
2 ученик: Let’s meet Christmas! We have got Christmas in December!
Calendar rhyme
In January falls the snow, In February cold winds blow,
In March peep out the early flowers, and April comes with sunny showers.
In May the roses bloom so gay, in June the farmer mows his hay,
In July brightly shines the sun, in August harvest is begun.
September turns the green leaves brown, October winds then shake them down
November days are break and drear, December comes and ends the year.

Let’s meet Christmas! We have got Christmas in winter! And what is winter?
Winter is the season, when mornings are dark. And birds do not ring in the woods and the park.
This is the season, when children ski and Father Frost brings the New Year tree!
4 ученик:
Winter means frost and snow.
What a soft little sound the rain makes on the ground!
What a soft, soft little sigh, the winds make passing by!
But can you hear the snow, as it flies to the world below?
Oh, no, we can not hear the snow.
5 ученик:
Don’t you know the snow is made of snowflakes?
Watch the tiny snowflakes, softly drifting by, like a cloud of feathers falling from the sky.
Lightly, very lightly, making not a sound,
Snowflakes from the blanket, on the frozen ground.
And tomorrow morning when the sun is bright, I will see my garden dressed in shining white.
(Появляются снежинки и танцуют)
На сцену выходит рассказчик, он посвящает гостей в суть праздника и приглашает их в обычную английскую семью.
Рассказчик: The British people celebrate Christmas on the 25th of December. This old festival symbolizes a birth of Jesus Christ. People decorate trees with lights and toys, buy presents for children and relatives, send cards. The children are the happiest this day. They get presents, eat tasty things and wait for Santa Claus.
Look! This is unusual English Family. They are waiting for holiday, because it’s Christmas Eve. (уходит, звучит песня «Christmas is coming», ученики выносят стол, скатерть и т.д.)
Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat, please put a penny, in an old man’s hat.
(Стол, стулья, камин, елка в центре. На столе свечи. Папа сидит в кресле, читает газету. Дети наряжают елку. Входит мама, несет очередное блюдо, ставит его на стол.)
Mum: How I love Christmas! The smell of pine-needles, tangerines, guests, Christmas cards…Magic time!
Tom: Magic time? Why is it magic, mum?
Annie: Because Santa Claus arrives this night. His wonderful reindeer bring silver sleighs and touch the house’s roofs. Santa puts gifts in the fireplace.
Mum: (laughing) Yes, children, I think Santa is already on his way here. Although I am adult I still believe in miracles and every year I wait for something magic.
Dad: (leaving his newspaper) Oh, I see all is ready. Tom, Annie, have you prepared your stockings for presents?
Annie: I’ve not forgotten about it! Here they are on our fireplace. Tom, come here and let’s hang them all.
Tom: Thank you, Annie! What do you want for Christmas?
Annie: I would like a small teddy bear, I like animals.
Tom: And I would like a car.
Звонок в дверь, папа идет открывать
Dad: These children want to sing us one Christmas song.
Ребята поют песню “On Christmas day”
Mum: Thank you, children! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! (мама раздает детям конфеты, дети уходят)
Dad: I think dads in all over the world are watching TV this holly evening. By the way, what’s on now? May be they sing new carols? (включает телевизор)
На экране взволнованная журналистка. За ее спиной Big Ben без стрелок. Следует очень эмоциональный репортаж.
Reporter: (worried) Good evening, ladies and gentlemen! I’ m standing in the center of London. The Londoners are very excited, because the criminal wave has covered the city. We are listening to 2 witnesses. Mss Smith, could you recite your story?
Mss Smith: Oh! It was a very strange case! I’m a seller in the supermarket in Oxford Street. In the afternoon one big black cat went to the shop and stole a pound of fish, without a sound! Nobody stopped him! Everybody was so surprised!
Reporter: How shocking! And you. Mr Green, tell us your story!
Mr Green: I was in a London bus, when one old woman came in. She showed me the gun and took out my ticket! I couldn’t move and speak that time!
Reporter: Thank you, Mr Green, Mss Smith! Your frightening stories are worth listening to.
(показывают на Биг Бэн, качают головой и уходят)
Reporter: But it isn’t the end of hooliganism in our city. Today on Christmas Eve, somebody has stolen……Big Ben’s hands. (показывает на Биг Бэн) We don’t know the certain time, we don’t know when to meet Christmas and Santa Claus. Who can help us? Nobody knows. Sincerely yours, Samanta Brown.
Семья Смитов уходит. На сцене появляются Холмс и Ватсон. С фонариками они ходят около Big Ben. (звучит тревожная музыка из фильма про Шерлока Холмса)
Holmes: Dr Watson, what can you say about the events?
Watson: I think…. They are strange.
Holmes: Is that all?
Watson: My dear friends, I can’t think when I’m so hungry! We have been here for 2 hours.
Holmes: (находит платок и держит его перед собой) I’m sure we haven’t tried out time without reason!
Watson: Have you got any ideas?
Holmes: Yes Look at this thing! What can you say?
Watson: (берет платок двумя пальцами.) It’s a shawl! (пауза) It’s a woman’s shawl! (пауза) It’s a very dirty woman’s shawl.
Holmes: (смеется) Yes, my friend (хлопает его по плечу) It seems I know its owner! She is a famous witch. She has got a good company: Two witches and a big black cat. Last year they wanted to fail the New Year’s festival in Russia.
Watson: I wonder, how did they do it?
Holmes: They did all Christmas trees invisible!
Watson: Oh! But how we’ll find them?
Holmes: We are lucky. They live in the forest near London. Let’s hurry up then! (звучит музыка и герои уходят через зрительный зал.)
Лес. Сидят 3 ведьмы и кот. Ведьмы что-то кладут в котел и танцуют вокруг него, а кот сидит рядом с ведром и ест украденную накануне рыбу. Звучит песня ведьмы Witch’s song.
Take three snake’s teeth and 4 frog’s legs,
A tortoise’s tail and 8 ant’s eggs,
Say “Abracadabra, jim, jam, jell!”
And now you’ve got a magic spell!
Witch 1: (потирая руки) Cool stuff! We’ll put it in Thames and all the city will be asleep!
Witch 2: They will be sleeping all Christmas and the New Year.
Witch 3: Sleeping city during Christmas! It’s very funny! Where our Big Ben’s hands?
Cat: (показывая на ящик) Here, in a safe place.
Witch1: Be attentive and careful, my nice cat, keep them as firm as possible!
Together: It’s our night! It’s our night!
The moon is full and bright.
And we shall see what can’t be seen, on any other night.
(Поворачиваются к зрителям)Give us cookies , fruit and gum!
Hurry up and give us some! You had better do a trick, or we’ll surely play a trick!
Witch 2: Come on girls! We have many things to do in this city! (улетают через зрительный зал)
Лес. Кот остается на сцене. Потирает живот. Холмс и Ватсон видят кота.
Holmes: Dr, look! It’s here! I see the withes house. But they are out.
Watson: Aha! Bad cat! Where are our clock’s hands?
Cat: Don’t worry, gentlemen! I am not so bad as you think! I’m a sly cat. I offer you a deal. You must guess my riddles. Then, take your hands. (Холмс и Ватсон думают)
Holmes: We agree. Can you help us? (обращается к залу)

3 What are two traditional English dishes for Christmas? (Turkey, pudding)
4. What words are not Christmas words? (sleighs, winter, candles, butterfly, Santa Claus, reindeer, mistletoe, turkey, decorate, Easter.
5 Draw a snowman.(1 ребенок рисует снеговика фломастером на ватмане с завязанными глазами)
Cat: What clever children you are! I have to give the hands for your clock. But take me with you!
Watson: Nothing to do. Come with us!
Holmes: Quick, please! I hear the bells! Звучит песня «Jingle Bells», Санта едет через зрительный зал под музыку.
Santa: I’ve had a long way, but I can’t find the right road in this dark forest.
Watson: Where are you going, Santa?
Santa: To London, of course. I have many presents for children. Let’s go with me.
Все садятся в сани, объезжают под музыку зал и возвращаются на сцену. Холмс прикрепляет стрелки к Big Ben. На сцене все участники поздравляют друг друга. Хлопушки, конфетти и т.д. и поют песню.
We wish you a merry Christmas,

We wish you a merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.
Свет включается. Все уходят. Остается английская семья. Играет колыбельная песня. Входит Санта с эльфами, котом, оленем. Санта зажигает свечи на столе. Все остальные разбрасывают конфетти и водят хоровод. Сана кладет подарки детям в чулочки, все уходят.
На сцене снова семья Смитов. Они спят. Первым просыпается Том.
Tom: What a wonderful dream! (идет к камину) Mum, look! Santa Claus brought me a car.
Annie: I’ve got something too. What a nice teddy bear! (обнимает медвежонка) Mum, does Santa come to English kids only?
Mum: No, dear. He has many places to visit on Christmas: France, Germany, Italy, Russia.
Все участники выходят и поздравляют друг друга. С НОВЫМ ГОДОМ! MERRY CHRISTMAS!
