«We know English»

Hello, dear boys and girls! I’m glad to see you here at our useful and interesting contest. It’s called (1 слайд)…

We need three teams to start brain-ring. Each team should be consisted of 6 students. Which of you want to take part in a game? Please, here are your places.

OK. We have three teams. And now you should name your teams and choose your captains.

So, our first team is called… Who is your captain? Good. And what about you?

OK. And now the first task (2 слайд)

Please, the captains come to the board. You should answer these questions without any help. (3 слайд)

М. В. is our judge. (заранее раздаю протоколы и объясняю правила)

The second task is « We know English Grammar». The task is to put the words in the correct order. ( 5 слайд)

Болельщики тоже могут проверить свои знания в английской грамматике и получить специальный приз. Задание для вас индивидуальное ,не коллективное. Выбираете тот номер вопроса, который соответствует номеру вашей команды. Листочки вы должны сдать членам жюри после окончания музыки. You have 3 minutes to do it. (звучат 2 песенки)

So, the time is over. Who wants to write the correct questions? The first team! …

And now let’s have a break. Please, everybody, stand up! Look at me and do what I show you to do.

The third task is called «Find the hidden place». Each team will get an instruction where to find its hidden place. Find it and present it to all of us. You have only 5 minutes.

Итоги конкурса болельщиков.

Let’s play the fourth game. (8 слайд) (Only 4 participants from the team can take part in this game) There is a four- step distance from each group to the yellow line in the middle. Each group tries to guess the riddle. If they guess it, they make one step forward to the line. If not, they stay at their place. (9 слайд)

And then the last task. Each team should make a short story (5 sentences) about our brain-ring. Please, don’t forget to write about the most interesting task in your opinion.
