GINGERBREAD MAN
Dear ladies and gentlemen, welcome to our Christmas show. Today you will see the performance prepared by the students of our school. So once upon a time there lived a boy Billy and his mother…
Scene 1
Mother: Billy, Billy come home. It`s high time to have dinner!
Billy: I`m coming… Oh, mommy! I`ve had such a great time.
Mother: Really?
Billy: Yeah! We`ve played snowballs, made a snowman. We`ve had so much fun. And now I`m so hungry.
Mother: That`s nice (laughing). I`ve baked a ginger bread man for you. Sit down at the table and have some tea with the gingerbread man. But be careful, it`s hot!
Suddenly they hear the voice from the oven : “Let me out! Let me out!” and the gingerbread man jumps out of the oven.
Gingerbread man: “Can`t catch me, can`t catch me!” (The gingerbread man runs away).
Billy: Stop! I`m hungry! (Billy and Mother look at each other with a surprise and run after the gingerbread man).
Scene 2
Gingerbread man runs through the forest
Red –Riding-Hood strolls and picks up flowers. Wolf chases her and rubs his hands.
Ginge bread man runs past them.
Red-Riding-Hood: Oh! Gingerbread man, where are you running so fast? I`m going to my granny. She is hungry. Come with me! She will eat you!
Wolf: No-no-no! He is mine! I`m also hungry!
Red-Riding-Hood: Wolf, my granny is more hungry than you!
Wolf: No! I`m more hungry!
Ginger bread man: “Run, run as fast as you can! Can`t catch me, can`t catch me!” (The ginger bread man runs away).
Wolf and R-R-H: Stop! We are hungry! (Wolf and R-R-H look at each other with a surprise and run after the gingerbread man).
Scene 3
Cat in Boots dances.
Gingerbread man runs past him.
Cat in Boots : Oh! Gingerbread man, where are you running so fast? I`m hungry and I want to eat you. Meow!
Gingerbread man: “Run, run as fast as you can! Can`t catch me, can`t catch me!” (The ginger bread man runs away).
Cat in Boots: Stop! I am hungry! (Cat in Boots runs after the gingerbread man).
Scene 4
Little Prince and Fox come to the stage. The looks up above the visitors heads.
Fox: Look, Little Prince! There is the Christmas Star in the sky!
| Little Prince: Twinkle, twinkle, little star, How I wonder what you are! Up above the world so high, Like a diamond in the sky!
When the blazing sun is gone, When the nothing shines upon, Then you show your little light, Twinkle, twinkle, all the night.
| Fox: Then the traveller in the dark, Thanks you for your little spark, He could not see which way to go, If you did not twinkle so.
When the blazing sun is gone, When the nothing shines upon, Though I know not what you are, Twinkle, twinkle, little star.

Little Prince: Fox! What is it? (He points at coming ginger bread man)
Fox: It`s a Ginger bread man and I`m hungry! (he licks his lips)
Little prince: I`m hungry too!
Fox: Oh! Ginger bread man, where are you running so fast? We are hungry. We want to eat you!
Ginger bread man: “Run, run as fast as you can! Can`t catch me, can`t catch me!” (The ginger bread man runs away).
Little Prince and Fox: Stop! We are hungry! (LP and Fox look at each other with a surprise and run after the gingerbread man).
Scene 5
Elves
Gingerbread man riches the North Pole and runs to Santa’s village
The song “I want to be an elf”
Gingerbread Man runs past elves.
Elf: Oh! Gingerbread man, where are you running so fast? We are hungry. We want to eat you!
Gingerbread man: “Run, run as fast as you can! Can`t catch me, can`t catch me!” (The ginger bread man runs away).
Elf: Stop! We are hungry! (Elves look at each other with a surprise and run after the ginger bread man).
Scene 6
And finally Ginger bread man comes to Santa Claus residence.
Mr Claus: Ho-ho-ho!
Mrs Claus: Mr Claus, have elves packed all the presents?
Mr Claus: Yes, they have.
Mrs Claus: Mr Claus, have you worn your red suit?
Mr Claus: Yes, I have.
Mrs Claus: Have you harnessed the deers?
Mr Claus: Yes, I have.
Mrs Claus: Oh, my Godness! We can`t forget anything!
Mr Claus: But we`ve forgotten! I`m hungry!
Mrs Claus: Oh! What a pity! I hope the children will leave you some cookies!
Ginger Bread Man runs past them
Mr Claus: Hello! Gingerbread man! You look tired.
Ginger Bread man: Yes, I am!
Mr Claus: Jump onto my nose! I will carry you!
According to the fairy-tale Sants Claus must eat Gingerbread man. But our Santa Claus is very kind. He doesn`t eat Gingerbread man, he asks him to stay with them and help to deliver the presents.
