Permission: can, could, be allowed to

• We can use can/ could/be allowed to – to ask for and give permission.
• They mean the same thing, but could is more polite than can .
• We use can/ be allowed to - in the present.
• We use could/ be allowed to – in the past.
• We use be allowed to - in the future.
• Выражение be allowed to (разрешается делать …) используется в том случае, когда мы говорим, что кто-то имеет разрешение на что-то, не указывая при этом, от кого это разрешение было получено.
